Just re-discovered this too, National Endowment for Democracy (aka US Gov by proxy) funds a Facebook fact checking organization (that also has ties to neonazis lol)

I suggest you go through articles on FAIR which is a media watchdog with a high rating on Media Bias Fact Check. It basically writes articles shitting on mainstream news pointing out when they are being deceptive or irresponsible
