But, there were still small shops like Metalex wich took parts from big factories and created sports cars for rallying, racing etc. The second pic is the car that was developed in 1980s but was released in 1990s. That car used V8 engine of those Tatras

Sometimes I wish the planned economy was a little bit more relaxed. There was always a potential. Now Tatra just makes trucks and isnt even Czech anymore….
