The zionist project only ever survived for so long because it received direct support from the European Settler Colonial patrons in NATO/EU/USA. It was only ever a European Settler Colonial project that used the thin veneer of Jewish religious mythology as a justification. If the Europeans and Americans and other NATO members stop supporting Israel, it will only be to replace the zionist regime with a more traditional colonial administration. Expect something like the CFA Franc for Palestinians and the illusion of a "2 state solution" that is really just more segregation and ethnic cleansing dressed up as progress
I doubt it.
If US aid to Israel dries up, Israel will just find new allies in China and India (it already has to a large degree).
Not to mention, I don't see a single scenario where the Israeli government would collapse. Their political system is quite unstable as it is and yet they've managed to pull through (things were way worse in the 80s too). Even if the government collapses, there's zero guarantee the Palestinians would all instantly rise up and storm the Knesset a la the Bolsheviks in 1917. The Palestinian resistance has been pretty pathetic for the past 10 years TBH. Every Palestinian with money and an education is getting the fuck out of there leaving behind a heavily weakened population.
I doubt the US will stop funding Israel any time soon. The actual threat to Israel's future is the fact that Ultra-Orthodox Jews, who don't work and don't do military service, have insanely high birth rates and will be a majority of the Israeli population this century.
>>1278677>If US aid to Israel dries up, Israel will just find new allies in China and India
This. The absence of US patronage of Israel would create a power vacuum. Israel depends on this kind of aid, and if the US were gone it would be looking for new benefactors. In turn, other countries would be looking to recieve the power and influence that having Israel as a beachhead once granted the US. Israel would be offering significant influence in the Middle East in exchange for military and economic support, and there are many countries that would take that deal.
>>1278652>Do you think we will witness the end of the zionist regime in our lifetime?
We'll witness the wholesale genocide of every Palestinian before zionism even starts to go away.
I don't see it ever happening.
Israel has also made agreements with several Arab countries. The Palestinians barely have any allies anymore aside from Pakistan and Algeria.
Most of the new immigrants to Israel are upper middle-class white American Jews, which means Israel is going to have plenty of wealth.
I don't buy the notion it's just going to collapse.
Only if the Great Satan is destroyed first
>>1278652>The FBI started their own investigation into the death of the al jazira journalist, and the international court will investigate Israeli army crimes.
Oh no you're right, this will totally destroy Israel bro. It's over israel bros, some fags in another country started investigating a journo being killed, this will bring our whole country to its knees. Do you unironically believe this uyghur
it's even more riveting that OP posted this pea-brained take with a time lapse image of palestinian ethnic cleansing
I had to write something to get past the minimum characters lmao
I really dont care about this region.
Also, I detect some assblasted zionists.
if anything Israel is in a stronger place now it has open alliances with Arab countries. the Palestinians are no longer required for cheap labour now Israel has refugees and migrants coming in, they're an expendable population, used as gunia pigs for high tech systems of oppression and weaponry.
>>1279109>I've heard this story somewhere before… so familiar
Semites gon' Semite amirite?? I dunno anon seems lazy…
A friend of mine told me that the times she's gone to visit her cousins in Israel she's always seen a lot of migrant laborers from Thailand and the Philippines. They're the ones building most of the new settlements.
TBH part of me thinks Palestine is a lost cause. I hate to say it, but it's true. Israel has made peace with a lot of Arab countries in the past 10 years. Plus, they're on very good terms with China and India as others on here have said (Russia too actually, but that relationship is a little more complex).
I would assume the so-called Pink Tide in LatAm would give the Palestinians a ton of new allies but it looks like that's not happening. Most of these leftist LatAm governments seem like they don't give a shit and are more concerned about the plight of their own countries' indigenous peoples.
The most plausible worst case scenario is, Israel annexes Area C of the West Bank with Areas A and B being given to Jordan and Gaza being given to Egypt. That's better than the Palestinians being totally genocided I guess.
As long as Palestinian are still fighting, it is not a lost cause.
i'm not saying it's an inborn racial characteristic so much as pointing out that this is what happens to displaced people in general
It's more that they aren't winning any victories. Did that bus bombing yesterday trigger another intifada? How many Hamas rockets (which barely do shit BTW) are needed before a revolution breaks out?
Does Iran actually help the Palestinians though? It seems like most of their "support" is just symbolic at best.
Israelis and Palestinians need to work together against the ruling classes of both their nations.
That's literally it. That's the solution.
Also fuck America. If Israel dumped America for China they'd be a lot less fascist.
Jews were never a displaced population. All Jews today are descendants of proselytes. Judaism spread throughout the world, not Jews.
The myth about a "wandering race of people" is Christian anti semitic myth used by zionists today.
You should avoid falling into this trap.
That's a very simplistic worldview. The interests of the Palestinian working class are not the interests of Israeli Jewish working class.
Yeah, it's this weird fear of stepping into "anti-semitism" whereas anyone would have no problem with 'fuck them anglo South Africans.'
Most of the Israeli working class are brown and black Jews from the Middle East and Africa…
How else do you suppose this conflict be ended when the Palestinians themselves have been unable to win anything?
They've tried violent resistance and it failed.
They've tried non-violent resistance (including BDS) and it failed.
Israel's economy is looking good. They've been though way worse political instability decades ago. Israel won't just collapse.
Mizrahi Jews are the most zionist Jews in Israel.
What makes you assume that?
>>1280126>How else do you suppose this conflict be ended when the Palestinians themselves have been unable to win anything?
The issue is that as things stand now that isn't realistic. The other Anon is right, there is a colonial contradiction between the Israeli and the Palestinian working class. In the grand scheme of things their interests align, but in practice the colonial antagonism consistently drives the Israeli workers and bourgeoisie together against the Palestinians. There will be no way for the Palestinian and Israeli workers to cooperate until apartheid is overthrown and the colonial contradiction is neutralized. A one state solution with equal rights for the Palestinians is a prerequisite for socialism in both Israel and Palestine. It's exactly like what Marx said about the English workers and Ireland.
A real, historical place unlike your imaginary temples.
Not much an assumption but a fact. Mizrahi Jews overwhelmingly vote right-wing.
Historically Israel's left-wing parties have been associated with the Ashkenazi elite while Likud was the party that made efforts to reach out to Mizrahim (for their votes).
I don't think so, although we don't like the idea of Israel, it is already implemented in the imagination of the entire world as a solid state that has every right in the world to exist, obviously these are not people, not even the least that happens there.
Possibly get a genocidal state facelift just like it happened in South Africa "oh,
Apartheid ended, now I love blacks" said the South Africans and look how that country is.
Another of the most imaginary possibilities and being almost impossible is the arrival of a world agreement (which would obviously be stopped by the United States in the United Nations) on returning the stolen lands and returning to the 1947 plans.
So what happens when they become the majority? Would they isolate themselves off further?
Do you really mean to suggest there wasn't a diaspora after the destruction of the 2nd temple by the Romans?>The myth about a "wandering race of people" is Christian anti semitic myth used by zionists
I'm sincerely confused, Expulsions and forced conversions of Jews were very common throughout the middle ages (for instance, the Alhambra Decree in Spain) and this contributed to the diasporic nature of the Jewish people.
Jews also generally don't prosthelytize.
They will eventually be absorbed into their countries cultures and forget about their home. Jews only managed to keep being a thing because everyone unanimously agreed to hate them and treat them as outsiders. Nobody gives a fuck about religion or jews or arabs anymore
They did early on. Khazaria, Ethiopia, Yemen, Hellenistic Jews/Proselytes just to name a few. Judaism only grew more insular and stopped being a proselyte religion after a certain point.
But why would the US ever leave Israel? Most of the politicians are dual citizenship and the rich have most of their children married to israeli double citizens too. Why would they just stop giving Israel money from taxpayers when they themselves arent paying any tax.
I thought that was a result of Khazars independently adopting Judaism because they didn't want to he tied to either the Byzantine Empire or the Abbasid Caliphate? >Ethiopia, Yemen, Hellenistic Jews/Pr
Weren't those all diaspora communities?
Well, Hellenistic Proselytes were called that because they converted to Judaism obviously, the nobility of the Himyarite Kingdom in Yemen was known to convert to Judaism before the Ethiopians deus vult'd them, and the history of Khazar conversion is murky but one of the versions I've read about is the standard "the Khagan received a Muslim, a Christian and a Jewish missionary and decided that Jews are the most based" legend. So I think it's fair to say that in the past there was some proselytizing activity and Judaism was more like the other world religions in that regard
No one knows what will happen, because such people have never been the majority in any country before. Hopefully their refusal to serve in the IDF will give Palestinians an opening to overthrow the government.
Considering they deleted a country from the face of the earth and no one gived a shit i doupt we or our children would see the fall of Israiel .
