What I’m proposing is a development that will likely come about this year. I’m talking about the use of drone jammers, or really just electronic jammers in mass to keep entire territories secure against all electronic and robotic weaponry.
I genuinely do not have a clue what the implications of large scale electronic jamming mean for war. Maybe this will make wars less intense, maybe it’ll make wars worse by forcing countries to rely even more on artillery and ballistic missiles to attack positions—who knows. What I do know is that with drones, like with many other weapons made throughout history, a new type of fortification has been made to counter them and keep people safe.
>>2224985Why the would you attach a wire to a drone? That’s too inconvenient and leave drones increasingly vulnerable, and the wires themselves would reveal the location of the operator(s). Besides, war is already inhumane.
Anti electronic warfare isn’t here yet, but it’s good to know that it’s coming given the likelihood and developments already being seen that suggest its arrival.
>>2225021>Are you seriously thinking the wire would visibly start from the controller's location?Bro really thought it'd be set up so you can reel it back to the operator and catch him like some cartoon.
Why would you not used a launching point?
>>2225031>Should this not be on akm ackshuallyYes.
>>2225030>yeah bro, we’re going to swarm the planet with drones and anti anti drone tech using weapons designed to primarily attack radar guided weapons and drones. Read your own article
Also I just find this piece to be exceptionally funny. Millions or even billions poured into a technology just for it to be beaten with such a simplistic method.
>>2224988>>2224988>Why the would you attach a wire to a drone? this is the second drone thred this week full of the most insistent retards. have you dumb cunts watched a video recently?
>>2224959>We’re on the cusp of anti electronic devices being developed in mass in response to the comically high overuse of drones for nearly everything.the power generation requirements for lazor/microwave/jamming means drones aren't going anywhere
