i have chosen to be unemployed and homeless for 2 years now, to achieve freedom in this system of wage slavery. i dont regret anything. capitalism isnt freedom and neither is socialism. you cant be made free; you have to choose it for yourself, even if that means death. dying for a purpose is still better than living without purpose.

As in: there's no such thing as a society that is freer than another, only one whose configuration is more or less suited to the needs and desires of it's people than another.

Looks like searching around the internet a common definition of freedom would be "lack of external constraints on one's will". One understands external constraints on one's will as including acts motivated by necessity.
