Between the airplane thing (seriously, he wasn't even going to fly, he just got in there to shmooze before the plane took off, it's ridiculous) and this one but we finally reached the point where Bozo is heckled in public. This would have happened much sooner were it not for the zeal of his handlers at keeping the places he visits as free of uninvited guests as possible. It's part of the stage control tactic I mentioned here >>320724
This reminds me, he doesn't even do morning press meetings anymore. Were you aware of that? It's one of those basic liturgies of representative democracies, you know, the elected officer being held accountable by the free press, that whole bullshit theater. Even theater is too much for him. For a long time now, what he does is talk to "the public" on his way out of the presidential palace in the morning. No pulpit nor chairs nor anything, to maximize the cheap demagoguery of it all. Besides journalists, there would always be a squad of mouthbreathers plucked from the cesspool that is his fanbase by his handlers. Besides kissing his ass, it's an unstated task of theirs to harass the journalists to varying degrees, and his security detail would occasionally join in as well. No one with a "background check" by his internet handlers was allowed in at all. the daily event has been dubbed "the playpen", where he's mostly free to be his odious self with little. As time went on, his patience has grown thin, and the playpen came to be inhabited by pretty much nothing but the mouthbreathers. This proved to be a problem for his handlers, because it would encourage him to be to be his odious self too much. He would just say whatever dumb shit and cause completely pointless attrition with other power players. The mongoloid horde itself was also growing comfortable with the complete lack of any criticism during the events and flooded him with requests of all types, some as simple as "sai hi to my mom". I think that it was by mid-August that his handlers convinced him to skip the daily playpen and just talk to the press like normal during public events.
Early this year, however, the playpen was back in action because Bozo's share of the news cycle had decreased to much (see Bannon's tactics), but now as a properly managed thing. Virtually no journalists, and the only video footage allowed was that made by a single news outlet, a dumpster fire of fake news and brownnosing., and the mouthbreathing was kept to a manageable level, so to speak. They're encouraged to ask questions, in an even cheaper version of the accountability theater. Obviously they're all softballs and often just plain dumb, but whatever, the only source of video would edit out all bad parts and put it up online, whereas the entire rest of the press would fish for anything useful. His patience is wearing thin again, and even humble doubts about this or that decision makes him lash out in his typical crass-yet-pitiful way. He's getting tired of his own followers. I'm reminded of the occasional rumor about Trump absolutely loathing his fanbase.
