It's like a "Man in the High Castle" miniseries except for communism. It's funny because the squishy left didn't like it for obvious reason at the time, but the right didn't like it either because it showed the Soviets as victorious and not oppressive enough (which is ofc a no-go for them… a lot of weird projection with those guys), and the producers did a good job making a communist America look somewhat believable in terms of the aesthetic, they did some research – with some Orwellian nightmares thrown in for good measure too, of course.

it was fucking insane. she went on a rampage telling us we had the drill the kids on these skills day in day out, until she forgot and moved onto the next thing.
the thing about chinese kindergartens is that it is ALL theatre. these videos are created tp impress parents to retain parents and gain new suckers.
