Propaganda and all the rest of efforts against class consciousness. It's insane that capitalism realism has become the default. It's like a pachinko machine, Porky keeps adding buckets even if they are just schizo shit that goes nowhere. Got burnt? Recast yourself and see where you land this time. You are free to rethrow yourself any number of times. Relatively free access of information, you got all the rights, go throw your ball another time. And eventually people burn out, grow old/tired and just want to go on with their lives. Lately ,market incentives are doing to social media what they did to the press before.

>>660116 communism isn't an ideology which people must subscribe to, communism is the natural expression of the proletariat and the labour movement.

>The large majority of working with your hand type working class people are Republicans not even liberals let alone Communists As someone who works a trade job, it's just because trades are some of the most propagandized fields of labour out there. In the English class I had to take in trade school (you are still required to complete certain academics if you're substituting it for high school), literally the only books we read for my year was "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" and Animal Farm. Now most aren't republicans, because most of the people I know don't vote at all, but I will say that communism has a huge negative stigma that is shilled to everyone. Also,>Implying republicans aren't also liberals.

This is the kind of thread that makes you embrassed to be American. First off OP the majority of the working class doesn't live in burgerland. And in Burger land most blue collar workers are swing voters if not outight democrats or just don't vote. That's not to say that democrats are communist or even left. But rhetorical they are less hostile to unions and the working class. It's not like you can vote for a communist anyways. Shit millions have been spent to recall some succdem council member in Seattle every since they've been elected. This is some Pol talking point that's reinforced by the "woke" democrats that the working class is inherently reactionary.

>>660116 it's a false premise- the overwhelming majority of the american working class simply don't vote (or are outright disenfrachised)
