the US will prop up Israel as long as they need a proxy against Syria and Iran, domestically it seems like their base of support is rapidly shrinking to just the evangelicals and whatnot

Mutts sold off large amount of their industry and are trade deficient with almost every country on the planet. If not for global markets soaking up the dollars they would drown in inflation, which is rising right now btw. In real life the USA has over 12 thousand mines and 330 thousand factories just idling sitting by and not being used to manufacture anything because corps would rather outsource as much of manufacturing as possible for easy profits than invest in things like mass produced industrial machinery or better maintenance techniques. We should use all of our industries for something like building roads ports and rails to neighbouring by states, dominating global trade through producing the best goods and to an extent we do but not to a degree that satisfies our abhorrent spending problem inflation or debt

It seems like Isn'treal is on the same path as South Africa, as there's growing anti-Isareli movement in the West and there is greater and greater awareness of its crimes. It will eventually follow SA path, but this will happen only when it will loose its geopolitical significance. Bit, this doesn't mean it has to become irrelevant, just that Middle East has to stop being the most important theater for US, which may happen sooner than we think.
