Let me preface by saying I'm not a big brain, I've never taken a college level science or math course, but where is the Communist scientific community in 2022? I'm probably not going to understand economic science on any practical level just as I probably will never understand the math of quantum physics on any practical level, but maybe I can try and understand the general concepts, and the work and experimentation of these scientists is presented in a credible enough way that I can feel comfortable taking their word for it. So where is the equivalent for Communism?

Just Cockshott? Who else is like Cockshott level that debates with Cockshott?

Cool, I'll try to familiarize myself. My question however, is do these leftist economists debate with each other the way physicists and other scientists do?

they do but it's not easy to keep track of these debates since they publish at plenty of different journals.
99% of marxist economic debate is bullying kliman though.

education is a brainwashing activity and comes with political propaganda. The scientists and economists coming out of university are all accepting of liberalism. Social democratic beliefs are super common among the educated. Either that or elon musk leanings.

>>670115

Marxist beliefs in universities are crushed because they don't take into account "racial identity politics" enough. The brainwashing naturally leads people to reject marxism and communism without even bothering to understand or read marx, engles, lenin.

Liberals make me sick. I've been publicly shamed for saying class matters more than race. I went to a really liberal university and even the socialists there worshipped Agent Kochinski.

what? marxists and identity theorists are like the most affinitive to each other in academia, and are both regularly institutionally repressed

He is, now that Samir Amin is dead

 No.673236

>>673230
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Samir Amin isn't really known for being an economist as such, but more as a world system analyst, and he isn't a data/STEM-oriented guy either. Still, intellectually he's way more influential than Shaikh.

Yes and no. He is known for being a world systems analyst, but his training was in economics, himself having a phd in this field. That's why he is qualified to actually combat "pure economics" as he calls it in his attacks on bourgeois ideology.

>he isn't a data/STEM-oriented guy either

depends what work you are reading by him. His books on the law of value and accumulation on a world scale are full with statistics and data.

can you upload some of his data heavy books you would recommend?
