Activists force shutdown of Israeli weapons factory in UK https://electronicintifada.net/content/activists-force-shutdown-israeli-weapons-factory-uk/33221 British police are struggling to end a protest at an Israeli weapons factory in Leicester, England, where activists have holed up on the roof for several days.
Members of Palestine Action climbed up on the roof of a drone manufacturing facility belonging to UAV Tactical Systems, a subsidiary of Israeli weapons manufacturers Elbit Systems and French firm Thales UK, on 19 May.
Elbit also provides surveillance systems, equipment to Israeli police and electronic detection technology for the illegal wall in the West Bank.
Elbit has 10 offices and factories in the UK.
Palestine Action members also “barricaded gates, destroyed property and vandalised the premises to prevent any more British-made drones being sent to commit atrocities in Gaza”, according to a statement from Palestine Action.

Communists should use anarchist ideas like mutual aid and also illegalism. Why should communists adhere to bourgeois law? Why aren't communists doing crime to secure funding. Orgs all across the world should unite in a massive mutual aid network and share money, resources, and methods for expropriation. It could be called the "Expropriationist International."

Reposting an older idea: labor organizers should research the supply chain for companies so that workers at different points in the supply chain (often in different countries) can coordinate strikes in solidarity with each other. E.g. if people in the 3rd world doing manufacturing are having problems but can't quite get a strike going, their comrades in the 1st world doing assembly of those manufactured parts could go on strike demanding better conditions for those workers (and maybe themselves too).

Here's another idea to re-rail the thread from posting pop culture nonsense. Use a system similar to crypto-currencies to track labor time for people working with communist organizations, as a practical solution for organizing and as a proof of concept. The labor vouchers would be redeemable for things that the orgs offered, whether that's stuff like newspapers or food. Optionally, don't allow people to buy these products with money but only pay for them with the labor voucher system.
