XR is just a collection of anti-global warming people. Its mostly radlibs and some communists.
Any retarded things they do (and they do a lot of that) is because theyre radlibs, not because theyre "eco fascists". They are firmly left of centre.
But i am sure this post will convince a lot of eternally online people on this board who never leave their house.

Literally nobody in XR knows who that guy is though.
Its extremely localized, they have no central leadership, they dont read books, etc. One of the 8 founders of such a massive org having some dumb ideas means nothing.
Again, do you actually know anyone from XR IRL? Because I do, we work with them regularly, my sister is a member too, shes also a radlib.

So it's no surprise that Extinction rebellion has the possibility of becoming eco fascism because they are some far-right opinions in Extinction Rebellion

They just straight up act like feds/cops in at least some places. They tell members to get themselves arrested. This is unironically one of their "strategies".

I've was actually part of an extinction rebellion chapter before covid. They aren't eco-fascists, instead they are mostly just Soc-Dems and green anarchists, at least where I live. The whole thing is extremely localised and there is barely an organisation structure. I never met any 'superiors' and we just sort of worked with other groups from neighbouring areas. They say some really cringe stuff but they are ultra socially progressive and only fascist in the sense that all soc-dems are fascist. It is a mostly lower middle class movement, but they are very open to socialism and they will listen to socialist and anarchist ideas, especially in relation to climate change, and many of even the old hippies are seriously doubting whever progressive capitalism can save the climate. I actually did a good job of radicalising some people, usually students, to become socialists and anarchists, and I met a Trotskyist who was infiltrating the movement in the same way I was. One time I made a speech at a sort of unofficial conference which about a hundred people attended after a march, where I explained that capitalism could not save the enviroment due to its fundemental structure, and that the only way to save the climate was to put industry into the hands of the people. It was overwhelmingly well received and I got a massive applause, even getting a bunch of people wanting to talk to me about it after the assembly. The thing is, I wasn't the only one making anti-capitalist speeches. There were a number of anarchists saying their thing to. The main problem is that its a hippie thing, and Extinction Rebellion's often cringe positions alienate lots of the working class. I still think it can be a way to radicalise people though.
