I’ve noticed a spike in western mods outlets mentioning africa and literally all of their ideas and predictions ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS turn out blatantly wrong. It’s like watching a child try understanding highschool education, they have some knowledge they got from preschool but ultimately they don’t really know what they’re observing at all.

I hear outlets stating trade is going from China to Africa but most trade in African economies historically present day and in future plans from the AU is about trade almost exclusively between Africans.

I hear complaints over overpopulation yet literally none of the predictions about it came to surface and the continents population is growing at an organic pace.

I hear stories over new wars in Africa or Indonesia and all we got as a surrender from the TDF and nothing else happened beyond wars from the 60s like the Congo or Somalia thing continuing yet even that’s wrong since theirs a government of that country and any armed opposition is being violently cracked down on.

What should anyone actually expect of the continent idk 15 to 20 years from now?
