In Russia, at the time Jews were one of the larger minorities and one of the most widely despised and victimized minorities in the country, as well as the Russian Empire, which had the most amount of Jews in Europe at the time. Of course, they were drawn to one of the only political groups/ideologies in that time period that actively fought for their liberation and safety from the Reactionary Tsarists constant pogroms and discrimination.
Keresnky's government was trying to cut back on some of the worse policies but were going too slow and with them unable to even get out of WW1 they couldn't expect them to also give Europe's punching bag full equality under the law.
And in the Russian Civil War they either weren't involved or fought with the reds because the White army was actively murdering them for no reason. Same reason why a Communist Revolution in America would have a lot of Black People involved with the communist party.
