It's been roughly a year since the military junta in Myanmar came to power. Since then, a full blown civil war was broken out between the military and the vast majority of Myanmar.
There has been fighting between rural ethnic groups fighting for self-determination and the military; there's been fighting between the civilian government's PDF militia and the military; there's even been fighting between returning Maoists and the military.

>>686468 Two things:
1) Sources on fighting between Burmese PLA and the military happening?
2) CPB has said that they follow Mao, but in the form of ML-MZT. So what they could mean is that they either follow the CPP-NPA line or simply the Chinese one.
For sure they're not Gonzaloids though.

The most interesting thing about the Myanmar conflict (aside from the communist role) is that its pushing the boundaries of what a ragtag irregular force can do. After just a few months the liberal side has acquired capability of craft producing RPGs mortars, mortar shells, Claymore mines, and now they're adopting 3d printing guns. I've never seen a guerrilla formation have such productive capabilities tbh. (of course they received help from Ethnic armed organizations but the point still stands).

That said i know very little about 3d printer so your machinists remark could be true.
The fact they can print rifles in the middle of the forest still is remarkable (and sets a precedent for future conflicts around the world).
