Progress S 2022-01-13 (Thu) 03:13:20 No. 689264
I think we need to leave behind conservatism in all kinds. I mean real progress must be made. I feel like I need to counter the conservative traditionalist narrative on this board. So this is what MUST happen. Firstly, familly structures will always create unfairness and tyranny so they must be abolished. Basically half your personality is based on who brings you up. Even in communism there will still be bad parents, so the solution is to end the idea of parents. Family structures also force you into being with people you might hate. Instead, in the future you will have friends who are as close to you as familly. The only IRL friends I have now are as close to me as my family is. Secondly, we must leave biology behind. It is absolutely disgusting and kills us. I don't think we should upload our minds on to a cloud or anything, especially under capitalism where I don't even trust the bourgeois to make a profit. Everyone should have their own personal robot body, with hopefully a digital mind inside. This will allow people to live much longer and live better. This is unfeasible in capitalism though for a number of reasons. Cyborg bodies will also allow people to really experience life and not be a slave to biological impulses. Sex will be abolished. Next we can evacuate the Earth and live in space colonies with a dyson swarm around the sun. The Earth will become a nature reserve, and people are allowed to visit and even stay there, so you can experience the freedom of camping and walking through nature. Animals will be allowed to continue living and dying in nature, though the most intelligent will be uplifted, and humans will not be allowed to harm them because it is cruel, unfair and unecessary. Maybe there will be an anarcho-primitivist zone, but all their children are taken and educated in space so they can make a choice about what they want to do. Freedom will be highly prized. You will be allowed to do most things as long as you also help others. No stupid conservative policing about what you can and can't do. Only things which harm others are disallowed. The idea of the bourgeois and private property will be gone from society. There will be no revisionists. Everyone will practice martial arts and cowardice will be tolerated but discouraged by society. If you want you will be able to get into dangerous situations because that's exciting, but its always a matter of personal choice. Art and culture will thrive in ways not yet known. History will be tought to everyone and people won't forget humanity's journey. Some habitats might have a culture, like a Chinese styled habitat or a Victorian styled habitat. Artificial intelligence, including that which already exists, will be treated as intelligent life and fully tolerated. If aliens exist they will be invited to the galactic commune. The concept of religion will no longer exist. Instead, people will investigate everything through science, so sprituality will become a disproved science, not a philosophy or whatever people say it is. Science, of course, will not be above morals. The concept of mental illness will no longer exist because people will just accept others. There will be no death penalty except to enemies of the revolution. Central government would have either already withered by this point or would be as decentralised as possible. This civilisation is what I want. Even if you don't like parts of it I hope you can understand this vision. Instead of conservatism we can have freedom.

As a matter of fact, in regards to animal rights, I don't think you're going far enough. Nature should be abolished and replaced with a simulated nature where no animal ever has to get hurt or experience pain. When a fox chases a mouse, he catches it, but when a mouse runs from a fox, he gets away. This can be achieved with omnipresent nanotechnology which preserves nature as essentially a planet sized nature exhibit. If it's wrong for humans to harm animals then it follows that we should protect animals from harm.

>>689275 Gross. Obviously there's an exception for when an animal is trying to hurt you or parasitise off you. At the end of the day human lives do mean more than animal lives. Just not infinitely more as is considered the case nowadays. Ideally all human parasites would be eliminated in nature and kept as zoo exhibits for people who are into that shit I guess.

Reasonably high effort troll, but you can't actually step outside your own conservatism, so are unable to write effective satire. Humanism is already dead and we are in post-humanism.
eugenics-kun 2022-01-13 (Thu) 03:30:01 No. 689283
You really haven't thought about what goes into raising a kid. If you think the state is going to do a great job of raising kids, just look at the state of public schooling (or any schooling for that matter) and see how well that has worked. They'd institutionalize and exterminate large swaths of the population, using them for whatever medical and social experiments they can. They already do that to a large extent, and want to remove any barriers for even more atrocities in the future. At heart, I know you endorse such a thing, since you pathologically cannot see underclass like me as human or suffering at all. You're a eugenist, and it's screamingly obvious throughout your post, so I will not bother with any further appeals to a sense of morality in you, since I know you have none. How do you "leave biology behind?" In some way, human beings will always be living creatures in reality, rather than pure information in the world of ideal forms. Even if you overcame DNA and people became cybernetic computer gods, you're still dealing with some physical structure, and that physical reality can be manipulated by someone with an imperious, managerial intent. The real argument is whether people will remain free of such managerial interference or if people will be utterly dominated by "society", which becomes nothing more than the guise of the ruling aristocracy. It isn't a question of some new technology turning over all hitherto existing relations. We live in such a world right now, and always have to some extent. The great mission of any aristocracy and middle class is a matter of drawing the rest of us into their political game, which for the low has been of no interest to us whatsoever. For us of the low, the political machinations of elites and graspers have always been an alien imposition bringing nothing good to our lives. The promise of technocratic society is that technology will somehow liberate us, we promise someday, but it never really has. The machine has, throughout modernity, usually meant a reduction in commoner living standards, and only reluctantly was any of the produce allowed to enter commoner hands. The better the machines, and the harder workers work, the worse their conditions become. Every advance of the common man in the past two centuries has been in spite of any of the new class, technocratic programs that the middle and upper classes seek. At best, the technocrats pay off the commoners temporarily, with the expectation that all the commoners hold dear will be clawed back by various financial tricks. There's too much stupid that I don't even know where to begin with your post. It's pure ideology, sounds good to a dumb teenager but it makes no sense if you are an adult and can think about it for five minutes.

>>689269 I never thought about this. But I agree with you, when this technology is possible it should be implemented. The problem is that I also want to allow people to have real challenges in nature. So for example they can climb the tallest mountain or survive in the rain forest. I don't know how this would work together with the simulated ecology but I'm sure you already have found a way.
>>689283 Your first point makes little sense. Why would state education in communism be anything like how it is under capitalism. You are assuming the problems of state education are fundemental and not due to the society we live in. You also seem to think that I want genocide when I never even brought up killing anyone but counterrevolutionaries, a number of whom will unfortunately have to die to overthrow capitalism. In your second paragraph you again make a nonsensical point. You are talking like the communism I am describing will use technology like it capitalism does. Machines will objectively make people's lives better in a society which actually cares about the people. You sound like a conservative who has flown into a fit of rage upon seeing my post, because your argument is not very coherent.
>>689799 Yes, I am fully supportive of LGBT rights, though I think they need to abolish gender because the concept is being used greatly by liberals at the moment in order to divide people. You are a retarded conservatoid who makes no argument other than that you don't like progress. I bet you would be against the Soviet Union sending people to space. Technology can ONLY be good under socialism, and I don't think there is an argument against that.
>>689825 I am a technological transhumanist but I don't think making capitalism worse will bring revolution much closer. Maybe I should just read Fanged Noumena. It is funny video though.
Not related, but I thinking that we NEED a global revolution in the next 50 years. Soon everyone will be microchipped, and people have already been soft mind controlled for years now through mk-ultra and similar operations. If we don't overthrow capitalism now we will become drones and no longer be able to counter it. If the billionaires build drones which can track and instakill dissenters there will be little hope left.
