How are cuckservitives this cucked

>"Movie is bad because humanity goes extinct which reminds me of climate change"

>"I liked movie but even though it is not about climate change it reminded me of climate change so the movie is bad and liberal propoganda"

 No.690714

The movie is clearly about climate change. The top actor in it leonardo decaprio is involved in many movements on the topic

David sirota who wrote the movie said it's about climate change too

The movie is very much about climate change, or the same sort of disaster if you will. It's a little hyperbolic, but it's definitely fun, and if you can't like something that disagrees with you politically, then you're just a no-fun retard.

 No.690721

It has literally nothing to do with climate change, you retarded schizos. If they wanted to tackle climate change, they would've done so instead of this comet cringe. I didn't like how they glorify scientists in this movie.
>just believe le science. Don't think. Just lap up whatever the fuck those scientists say.
Do you people realize scientists supported racism and nazi shit back in the day?

The only reason that guy has any subscribers is because he constantly spams YouTube with ads for his vids. I just report the ads for being deceptive.

Most of them joined nazi party at a very early stage.

My actual issue with this film is that it promotes technological optimism in a way if we take it as a climate change metaphor. All bad shit happens only because people are dumb and we can solve everything with our current technology. It lacks structurally thinking. It just doesn't work as a climate change metaphor for many reasons. It tries to be apolitical as fuck.

Why are you guys talking about doctors when the initial assertion is about scientists?

 No.690750

The point is climate change can be real but we shouldn't consult scientists for solutions when most of them are liberals. They are NPCs who basically orient to whatever status quo.

You're retarded, you don't get an opinion on scientific subjects if you're not a scientist

Dude, there's no apolitical solution to this. Observations on climate change is objective and neural. But solutions proposed to tackle that will always be political in nature. Why can't you understand this simple logic? Scientists are all either techno fascists or liberals.

How is it political? Like how carbon capture or nuclear be made political?

For what it's worth a number of papers have been published in recent years basically saying that capitalism will have to be done away with if catastrophic climate change is to be averted.

FAKE. If those tweets were real, the actors would have said them in the movie. AND the characters would have the names Climate Change, Climate Change Two, Climate Change Three and so on.

Absolutely. Just don't look up.

 No.690833

Isn't the movie more about the effect of second order observation on public discourse and consensus? As in, what you say has become subordinate to how you look when you say it and how you are perceived saying it.

It's a profilicity movie.

The sphere of things good people can do without being told that things could change is ever shrinking! I just want to to be reassured that everything that I believe is right and permanent and I'm a good guy! I go to work! It's not fair!

This is too much, we need to take politics out of politics! I'm literally shaking right now. And its your fault, liberals!

This is miss. He both misses fundamental aspects of the movie (that for example the "just nuke the asteroid" didn't work, and that this was because the big tech CEO took over the control from the scientists) and the fact that economy is portrayed to play the dominant systemic role in the movie, which, finally, spoilers leads to an extinction event
I guess he dozed off while watching it.

Enemy at the Gates wasn't bad because it was anti-USSR. You could have made such a movie. It was bad because it was basically Nazi propaganda for the first few mins and had a retarded love story as well as being entirely disconnected from history. It's offensive on many fronts. On the other hand, I can watch something like Red Dawn and have a bit of fun. CoD can also be fun. I get if you don't like it, but if you reason for dislike is because the US are the good guys, then you really are a no-fun retard.
