I think leftists do that on every debate addict site. I.e. I used to see it on twitter, saw some clips of youtubers/streamers doing it (have never seen a vTuber do it yet tho) but on healthy sites people don't just throw books at each other. They'll reccomend and cite stuff, but they won't just say "read [author]" to shut the other up.
