go to church or mosque and pretend to be religious. most religious people don't actually believe in religion. they just go there for free shit and to see their friends.
- contact page on a personal website so people can email you and potentially become pen keyboard pals.
- activitypub, made a few friends there first week and a few more in the years since.
- visit the library regularly
- visit the local small game shop occasionally if available. Not because "support small buisnesses" or whatever, but because people are sociable and have easy to relate to interests there much like the library there, and aren't just there to buy and flip funkos.

Just not "mfw the party's packed [pogging cat]," since that example fails to constitute a joke. Extroversion as a concept seems more difficult to make coherent jokes about than introversion.
