I think all kinds of people complain about not getting women. Society's whole attitude to short guys is that they can never be real men no matter what they do. They are always "manlets." Scrawny manlet, fat manlet, buff manlet. It doesn't matter what other qualities you have, you are automatically not a real man. Of course this extends into dating.
