Because brainwave patterns in Trans people usually match the brainwaves of the cisgender people they identify as. Now how is it not a mental illness that people are obsessed with banning transgenderism instead of leaving them the fuck alone and focusing on class first politics?

I can understand being dismissive of trans issues, a lot of people are dealing with their own bullshit.
What I can't understand is people who are absolutely OBSESSED with trans people to the point that it dominates their lives. Why would you spend so much of your time focused on a small minority of people you consider repulsive? With normal phobias you do everything possible to avoid seeing the thing you're afraid of (spiders, etc). With transphobia for some reason it's the opposite, people go out of their way to focus on trans people. You're exposing yourself to something you hate far more than if you just lived your normal day-to-day life, to the point of derangement. To me that's unquestionably more mentally ill than what trans people are going through.
