Why not just play games in the data centre while pretending to work like most sysadmins? Management tends to scared to walk in there and even when they do you can position yourself deep in the racks so you can hear them coming giving you tons of time to switch to a terminal window.

Most data centres run *nix yet you have cases like the development of Toy Story 2 that had data loss because someone thought it was a bright idea to give users the right to delete project files. Also data centres would never run Gentroo due to lack of support like they get from IBM (AIX and Red Hat).
