Whats the based, cheap, china-sourced version of these cursed things?

Idk how long bluetooth earpods have been around

Has the technology and factory rate of production for these settled down to become cheap and reliable for the average person to buy?

 No.14448

You won't find both hifi and cheap bluetooth IEMs, but Aliexpress has had plenty of good IEMs for years already.

Anyone else get swamp ears from over-ear headphones? I even explicitly looked up "air ventilated" ones what even should durable for workouts, still my ears end up "soggy" after listening to some overly long 3h podcast or some shit. If I itch at that point I fuck my ears up.
Anyone else have experienced this problem or is it a me-thing?

How are these airpods with sweat-buildup / irritation with prolonged use? I bet there has to be a couple of people having used these throughout workdays or shit like that. Have you experienced notable adverse effects?

You can try open back headphones but they don't block ambient noise

you shouldnt use over-ear or on-ear headphones when outside lol thats what iems are for

to add to this
iems sound just as good or even better and offer more isolation than either closed or open back headphones, plus theyre easy to carry and a lot cheaper (even the hifi ones)

I don't get swamp-ear from using over-ear closed-back outdoors, I get it from using them regularly indoors (as you're supposed to use em, right?). I'm asking about it because maybe others also get a lot of moisture buildup from using them, is that like inherent to the design or what?

This is a good point. Whenever I've bought IEMs it's been very cheap ones, while maxing out cost on over-ear closed-back headphones. Maybe I should just go hifi IEMs instead next time.

SO NOW BACK ON TOPIC, SORRY GUYS
What are some high-quality, China-sourced IEMs?

It's fucking ridiculous that $30 IEMs > $70 headphones >>>>> $120 speakers, but it is how it is.

 No.14513

>>14509
I've found that actually good speakers are in the range of >$200 and you also need to modify your room to get the full benefits so to speak so I gave up and only have iems and some open-back headphones that can work as speakers if I turn the volume up to 100%

Overuse causes ear problems. This is well known among doctors / ear specialists.

uhhhhhh yeah overuse of literally anything can and will cause ear problems, whether you use iems, headphones or speakers, but you will need to compensate less with iems, thats why i mentioned better isolation
