Military there has a shitty history of installing kleptocrats and the guys running it don’t want to be blamed for anymore nonsense and have people hunting down their officers. Now the military and police force (try to) stay out of politics as much as they can.

No. I am west African. Most Nigerians are really social and really emotional in general. If I had to wonder if they can do it, I can believe it.
