Yeah man, it's smoking. Try the med route and slow tapering, I heard some good things about Wellbutrin. there's no reason to quit it cold turkey.

It's rough, my uncle beat meth the Trainspotting way and still bitches about needing to stop smoking. My dad quit for sixteen years then had a dream about smoking and picked it right back up. I think I'll die a smoker, but whatever I don't wanna be elderly in this world

how long did you do each and how much of each, because in my experience of 10 years as a junky and 18 years of using tobacco/weed it is 100000x easier to go without tobac/weed vs opi.

I have a foolproof method but it takes commitment, masochism and an understanding that it is permanent. I started when I was 12, smoked close to a pack a day until I was 34. Clean now for over six years. This isn't a joke, it's what I call the Pavlovian method.

Step 1. Get your favorite smokes, treat yourself. Smoke like a train for a day.
Step 2.

The following day, before you smoke your first cigarette. Take your smokes and your lighter with you. Run / Bike / Skate / Jog for as long as it takes to get you winded and ventilating heavily. Could be a few feet, or more, doesn't matter.
Step 3. Most important part, as soon as you stop moving LIGHT UP! Smoke that cigarette while you gasp for air and MOST IMPORTANTLY - STARE AT THAT PACK OF YOUR FAVORITE SMOKES.

While you are gagging and couging, feeling ill and hating how your body feels, it will ingrain on your psyche that those cigarettes are fucking you up.

As I type this, I'm thinking about American Spirit smokes, coughing involuntarily and thanking myself for years clean.

THIs WILL work, my friends have also done my method. You have to commit to the pain, you'll stop within a months time if you do this daily(anecdotal max of one friend), took me about 5 days.

I should add that you MUST do this before every smoke. Do not smoke without pushing your body first, you must be trying to catch your breath.

i smoked blunts and spliffs when a teen but never picked up tobacco proper and even stopped smoking weed altogether before 30

idk how the tobacco in the blunts didn't get me hooked but there you have it
