>>12244>During their early days, the prevalence of female participants and their subjects of interests in dōjinshi markets had made male dōjinshi artists felt alienatedYeah, because straight men don't usually watch gay porn. However, you have the mistaken impression that they actually wanted Yaoi stuff gone rather than trying to compete with the unprecedented sales. Fujoshi have always been part of the climate at comiket and will continue to be so. Hell, some of the biggest participants and successes have ben all-female circles that specifically participated in the Yaoi fandom. Look at characters like Garma Zabi, who was instantly taken in by these groups, and entire franchises meant to appeal to females. Even ones that were shounen action appealed and continued to provide service for female fans. This idea that the lolicon movement in circles was somehow opposed to BL themes or yaoi is stupid. They are separate and both are liberating expressions of art. Sometimes it almost seems like the artist wants to shock the reader with taboo themes that do not produce an erotic reaction anymore. This is true for both yaoi and lolicon generes. I think this is a good thing, and I do not believe that either are pushing the other out. This false conflict that you are presenting is just that: false.

This trivia probably is not pure otaku content per se, but in the old Black Panther publication's archives, there ostensibly were samurai movie ads from famous works on the pages.

>>13769well yeah its their fantasy though, in their fiction. their fictional ideal is a debt free virgin without tattoos that also has cat ears and can fly. it's not like they demand cat eyes, blue hair, giant eyes, and absolute purity in real life. most people will separate their fantasy designed to be as appealing as possible from demands placed in actual reality.

>>13873i wonder if it's because statistically women who have had multiple partners aren't going to end with you as their final partner. the more partners she's had the less likely she's going to settle with you. there is an instinctive drive to form long term bonds for the raising of children that has an influence on the sexual fantasies of males. maybe its because of that?
No.15742
>>15741of course thats not just otaku fantasy it's male instinct. it just comes out more in otakus since they're less socially filtered then normies who keep these kind of thoughts and feelings to themselves and then virtue signal they don't feel that way because its expected of them.
