There's a "draw Alunya" thread
>>408But this one is for all the other mascots as well. With or without Alunya.
>>1017Huh, I thought Alunya was 21.
I also thought Makhno catgirl was a boy.
still waiting for that /cybersoc/ cat

>>1023OK, OK, I'm gonna post this dumb sketch for now and when I come back in a couple hours I hope to get your feedback on design and color palette.
Do you guys know how hard it is to draw a catperson with slicked back hair and 1 set of ears and glasses? It looks weird as fuck. So every time I looked at it I just lost motivation and got more embarrassed, lol.Anyway, he could have a red tie or a red shirt with white tie. These are Andean mountain cat colors but could be changed to kodkod colors. The suit could be brown instead of grey, too. Or wear Cockshott glasses instead of Glushkov glasses
>>1026>>1025Really damn good, I think the checkered vest look it too messy for a character like this, (RWBY suffered in this regard).
As for eyes I think No. 3 stands out to me most.
Alt. glasses
Alt. suit color
and fixed some stuff
>>1027>Really damn goodOh wow, I didn't really think anyone would like it. Thanks, I'm glad.
>I think the checkered vest look it too messy for a character like thisok, it's just the tie then.
>As for eyes I think No. 3 stands out to me most.Alright, I'll leave the eyes like this. For now, at least.
>>1023 (me)
>>1025hooray!
the white tie doesn't go with the red shirt I think
do catpeople have two sets of ears?glasses on characters with upright ears is something I remember MLP:FiM having trouble with>>1028this suit color works better
>>1025>Do you guys know how hard it is to draw a catperson with slicked back hair and 1 set of ears and glassesIt's not very visible but in recent art I've started to go for a slightly more realistic take exactly for this, where I have the ears start where humans have them
Anyway enjoying this design, my vote is for red shirt
I wrote a short bio for him:
Cybersocialism catboy>Name:>Age: mid-20s>Nationality: Chilean>Eye color: dark brown or black>Hair color: dark brown and beige>Height: 172-175 cm>Likes: computers, math, good questions, cigars, alcohol, chocolate>Dislikes: right-wing coups, dumbass questions, Anti-Glasses Aktion>Hobby: collecting and fixing graphing calculatorsRandom trivia:
>Might tear up when thinking about OGAS and Project CyberSyn>Carries a hip flask and a calculator all the time>Slightly chubby>>1030>>1029Glad to see you like it, and I also think brown looks better.
>do catpeople have two sets of ears?Apparently none of the catgirls do, lol. They usually have a lot of hair to cover their lack of human ears, and there isn't much art of nekomimi characters with a hairstyle like this (and 1 set of ears) online, at least not that I could find a lot.
>>1031Ok, I'll try.
>>1032>It's not very visible but in recent art I've started to go for a slightly more realistic take exactly for this, where I have the ears start where humans have themlol I definitely noticed and I love the way you draw ears now (not that I disliked how you used to draw them)
I tried to do something like that but thought that it would still look weird with that hair
(btw, I think is kinda difficult to draw his hair so I could change it, what do you guys think?)>my vote is for the red shirtRed shirt + grey suit + white tie doesn't look too bad imo, though it looks like most people so far like white shirt + brown suit + red tie.
In any case, there's also his casual clothes with a red shirt, pic related lmao, what do you guys think? Or is it too much?>>1033I would add Austrian economists to dislikes
>Height: 172-175 cma good 20 cm shorter than me
>>1034>I would add Austrian economists to dislikeskek right, I love I was forgetting something
Feel free to add more stuff yourselves, I'll get home and draw a small version
>>1035>I love*I knew
>>1036I was thinking Víctor or Pablo (Spanish for Paul) but maybe that's too predictable, perhaps Guillermo (Spanish for William)
>>1036checked
>>1037>Guillermoclever :)
also checked
>>1033showed this around to some people. reaction was that he looks a bit too serious
anyway, great work anon, have pic related
>>1428>showed this around to some people. >anyway, great work anon, have pic relatedYay, thanks, it makes me happy that people liked it.
>he looks a bit too seriousIt was just a sketch with a neutral expression lol (which also means he's probably still gonna change a little), have this thing I've been drawing for the past week.
I think I'm giving him a little bit of stubble. Also I'm not hating his hair as much as I used to.
>>1436no I just used the posable CSP boy model that comes with the software
and perspective
>>1438>lewdIf it's lewds you want…
>>1443Lenincat doesn't always look like that though
>>1460maybe have ancap cat go on about muh ECP and cybersoc cat unable to hear her over the sound of his compooter
useful maths bits to maybe throw in:
max c'x s.t. Ax ⩽ b, x ≥ 0
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linear_programmingthis ties to Kantorovich
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computational_complexity_theoryO(N^2.5) - current practical worst-case complexity for linear programming (Vaidya and Lee-Sidford)
O(N) - from my own experiments indicating economic planning might actually have linear complexity (this remains to be proven in practice)
ancaps/Austrians also tend to go on about the local knowledge problem, which I think is at least not completely invalid, unlike the notion that equations in 1000 variables can't be solved. so something about workers transmitting knowledge to eachother or to a "cloud" system maybe?
also there's a really lame pun in there about cum being a carrier of information >>1463this is just a sad kind of passive aggressiveness.
>>1475you didn't understand the joke, Norm's not only trolling right wingers, he's also trolling socially liberal people that have become the parody of the right wing boogieman.
>>1477I think Cockshott's views on this subject come from a feminist angle that is concerned with the erosion of women's rights.
>>1461>>maybe have ancap cat go on about muh ECP and cybersoc cat unable to hear her over the sound of his compooterThat's a cute idea, I like it.
>also there's a really lame pun in there about cum being a carrier of informationhot, when I first came up with the Cybersoc catboy idea I though about something kinda like this
>>1463Actually,
you can draw him however you want, even make him cis female. I don't know, maybe it would('ve) be(en) more popular since the userbase is mostly male. Or maybe people prefer him this way, idk>>1475>>1477kek
