I saw gameplay of gta 5 and found myself confused seeing the player fail to drive safely and use their signals. It was then I remembered that the person was playing a gta title. In the time since gta 5 released I graduated high school, got a license, learned to drive, got 2+ years of experience, and am finding a first job, yet the only game released by rockstar was from over half a decade ago, and that’s just the release schedule of one major game company out of like 5-6 others whom we only got one star field game out of…

When I first played I couldn’t give less of a shit, I’ve been disconnected from all things grand theft auto for years now, getting hit by such a pang of confusion to realization of what caused that is miserable. Not because of what’s going on in the game but the studio behind it taking forever to push out anything new. If rockstar just said, “that’s it that’s the last of these games we’re pushing out”, at least it would have a calm death like splinter cell or rayman. However they don’t do this, they just milked the same game like Bethesda did for a fucking decade in all that time long since anyone that played the original games left the franchise and now coming back there’s nothing.

There’s nothing good about the feeling of coming back to something you enjoyed only to realize there’s nothing new to see and never will be.

Yeah when? We don’t know wether or not that’s the actual sequel or if it’s a vice city remake, and judging off the state the game was in it’s probably gonna take several more years before an announcement trailer comes in. Who knows how long we’ll have to wait before a fully finished gta 6 comes out, or if it’s just gonna be another dead island 2 situation. And will rockstar even publish any new games during all that time?
