games are “improving” visually but seemingly lack proper depth in story and dialogue . Cod is just a movie, there is a reason why people praise the series for being “cinematic”.

People love saying that no one plays it for the story, but then proceed to praise it when everyone seems to like it. People praise the games’s stories all the time, especially the older ones. I personally avoid this garbage since I am a member of one of the bugmen races that get slaughtered at mass in those games. Even if most people don’t play the campaign, a large portion still plays and is influenced by them. I fully believe that fps games like cod and battlefield are partially to blame for the rise of fashoids.
