Which one is best?
For a domestic all around usage?

If I wanted to check my waist and then use the same tape to build a cabinet or move in some furniture and check the area length beforehand, which one is better

Only one can be bought (Don't ask why)

 

The metal tape (forgot the proper name) will be less of a hassle when doing handicraft and can be used to 'measure your waist' but I will be awkward.
