Hello, people, I'm creating this thread so a person more knowledgeable than me can help.
So, lately I found out about some group of people on the web that defend a kind of scientific racism, things like I.Q, race and the relation between genes and behavior. The more I read about it more became clear the dangerous implications of those "findings", but I'm not versed on biology or psychology to have a full nuanced picture. Anyway, anyone know great books that show "the other side of the picture" about the relation of genes, I.Q, behavior and race?
Haven't committed to read it but have seen the author talk some. IIRC the two main arguments are:
- There is no meaningful g-factor, but multiple potentially unquantifiable intelligences.
- Humans have not evolved substantially for hundreds of thousands of years.
- Skull-measurement experiments etc. have failed to accurately obtain results.

>>2260574yeah those people arent worth arguing with, BUT it is still very helpful to understand these things so that you can actually have substantial counterarguments for them when they try to convince people who DONT know better
