Virility is pretty useful for everyone and I mean everyone regardless of whatever label they attach to themselves. Having the strength, determination, intellect, and mental resilience to force changes on your environment by your hands is by far one of the most influential means of fixing the world around you. Hell, virility is a progression from the weakness the earliest and I mean the earliest humans had to face with. To call virility reactionary and not an asset that can be used for progressive changes is counterproductive. If anything, there are objectively far too many people too physically and emotionally weak to help themselves, help other people, or organize any resistance against blatant oppression when faced with (surprisingly weak) oppressors.
After all, how many adults are physically strong enough to lift another person away from a dangerous situation? How many have the mental resilience needed to even clean themselves and their homes on their own? How many can handle just eating right and being able to recognize the need to share food with others?
The bourgeoisie isn’t invincible, I can confidently say that most of them are weaker than I am in terms of physical strength and mental resilience.
Anyways, I’m doing plyometric and endurance training again and I’m going to buy myself a cool vest to get some extra gains in power. You should too.
>>2266067>Virility is pretty useful for everyone and I mean everyone regardless of whatever label they attach to themselves.I mean it's better to be doing something rather than sitting around being a couch potato.
>The bourgeoisie isn’t invincible, I can confidently say that most of them are weaker than I am in terms of physical strength and mental resilience. They're not invincible but they have armies, and the cops, and a lot of those guys will absolutely ruin your day.
>>2266105That second part is more disappointing than it is threatening. I read a comment a while ago that stories of warlords charging first into combat while soldiers followed was accurate to history being that soldiers back then wouldn’t fight or protect leaders that couldn’t fight or were willing to protect their own men. I don’t know if that’s true, but if it was
My god the human species fell off so hard after capitalism
>>2266328You understand that it’s significantly easier to socialize and handle self care by being physically stronger right? No really. Just not having tummy fat makes it significantly easier to clean out your torso and belly button (if your an innie) just off the fact that you don’t have to dig through fat folds.
Beauty, hygiene, and socialization aren’t prerequisites to strength, they’re active byproducts.
>>2266335>You understand that it’s significantly easier to socialize and handle self care by being physically stronger right? No really. Just not having tummy fat makes it significantly easier to clean out your torso and belly button (if your an innie) just off the fact that you don’t have to dig through fat folds.Totally missed my point. I didn't even argue with this. And my point about socialization is that athletics is (or at least in its proper form should be) a social activity.
>Beauty, hygiene, and socialization aren’t prerequisites to strength, they’re active byproducts.Again, totally ignored what I said. Where in what I said did I say "beauty, hygiene, and socialization" are prerequisites for strength?
>>2266363I work out with friends and alone too. Most people do the same man. Don’t worry too much about training and socialization. It’s unlikely that you’ll be training alone for long if you’re training correctly.
>>2266572Most jobs (especially informal ones that make jobs) require manual labour anyways man due to cleaning and gathering supplies for any kind of work. That’ll be fine
>>2266715>I work out with friends and alone too. Most people do the same man. Don’t worry too much about training and socialization.???. What are you replying to?
>It’s unlikely that you’ll be training alone for long if you’re training correctly.I grew up with and in athletics and training, and this is literally what I said. It's like you're not even responding to anything I'm saying.
>>2305287>We>A, not B (when AB exist)Back to the drawing board, skyrim.
>>2307205Seems like trans leftists are the only ones that actually train with their guns. Like of the few that do have guns that I've met, a lot of them just have it and assume the basic training necessary to obtain it was enough.
>>2266067Lifting weights is helpful and can sculpt a nice /aesthetic/ but imho the primary focus should be cardio and calisthenics- plus taking up a martial art.
If you can lift your own weight and keep up good cardio you'll be a step ahead of most.
>>2266067Working out is cope and is for stupid people.
>me lift heavy thing up and downYou’re a Neanderthal not a Marxist.
>>2355638I went through the bell curve meme on gym culture.
>gym bros are normie jocksNot true except for the gearheads who act like they're on too much cocaine all the time. Most of them are nerds or people coping from some trauma like a bad break-up or feeling weak.
>actually, gym bros are pretty smart. Exercise helps the brain and they take everything seriously. They're always trying to learn more about nutrition and exercise physiology. Then I worked out pretty hard for 7 years. Did powerlifting focus for the majority of it. That's when I learned…
>the majority of people working out seriously enough to go online to talk about it are simpletons who live and breathe tiktok/youtube ideology. Everyone is suffering great man worship as they don't even trust themselves to tie their shoes without some Westside article explaining how to do it. People argue to the death about shit they don't even understand, and every argument devolves down to YEAH WELL THIS GUY IS BIG AND HE DOES THAT. NO MY GUY IS BIGGER AND HE DOES THIS. THIS GUY IS TRUSTWORTHY BECAUSE HE PWNS THE LIBS.And the "just don't give a shit" argument is bullshit because if you lift seriously enough to get good about it, you start absorbing this shit. It's like a pedestrian telling a race car driver to not have opinions on cars.
>>2356690The only thing they're right about is the undercurrent of right-wing politics because it's in that manosphere shit of self-improvement and egoist attitude of putting yourself above the "commoners' who don't workout. Alpha Destiny and Natural Hypertrophy were some of the most embarrassing examples of this but they go without almost any criticism because again, they love that performative facade. That's what (smart) people mean when they call it fascistic, not that literally picking up a weight turns you into a ᴉuᴉlossnW.
It's like gun clubs. You'd be an idiot to deny the ideology its swamped in. I'm right because here we are thinking it's some major act for a "leftist" to go workout, as if that's some wild revolution, same as the people that feel the need to label their gun clubs explicitly "socialist gun clubs"
Outside of that, working out is also one of the most commodified basic activities I can think of. People sell gear for push-ups and you have to drive to go to a calisthenics park if your town even has one. I understand they're common in some ex-soviet states but I have never seen them common anywhere I've been in the USA.
>>2357269>What you’re advocating for won’t produce a martial culture you wantYou don't know that. Even now, more and more women are showing an interest in weightlifting and bodybuilding. I said that all women
should be sublated, not all women
must be sublated; the latter is untenable
>You’ll just create a caste of people that are strong and a caste of undisciplined people that choose to avoid to train entirelyNothing wrong with that. As long as the martial class is large enough to defend/overthrow reactionaries and class traitors
