Why do liberals think the tank man was crushed when the whole video is available and you can see that he gets away?

The liberals that do know that "tank man was crushed" is a lie yet still don't do the math that maybe more shit is a lie… just why?

Why are there tanks?

because libs be libing.

because it was a color revolution going on
https://goodsresearch.substack.com/p/tiananmen-1989-anatomy-of-a-colour

>During the 1980s and 90s, many socialist states had succumbed to decades of imperialist onslaught, and were defeated and demolished.

>Yugoslavia, USSR, GDR, Socialist Poland, etc. were torn apart, cannibalised over night, dooming entire populations to poverty and underdevelopment, became subjects of the global neo-liberal order, subservient vassals, and even useful proxies of empire.

>The same fate was planned for China; but the Communist Party was able to defeat the colour revolution, steer clear of the capitalist road, and the country has remained sovereign and independent on the socialist path of working class state controlled mixed economy.

>Exploitation, corruption, and social alienation necessarily came with the introduction of even limited and controlled capitalism. Conditions for Chinese labour in the factories of Western corporations were so terrible that a few featured suicide nets. The pressures on working class young people to compete against each other, being preyed upon by a new class of ruthless minor bourgeoisie that sought to get rich through profiteering, were immense. Adding to all of that inflation, economic ups and downs, the growing pains of an extremely underdeveloped economy, many urbanites had a very difficult, back breaking, soul crushing time during those heartless, dog-eat-dog years.

>Grievances produced by such economic discontent and societal contradictions were the initial and main drivers of the late 1980s protest movements. In 1989, coupled with the death of the relatively liberal party leader Hu Yaobang, whose funeral gave cover and permission for large scale gatherings, it came to a boiling point.

>By far, the largest faction was the left, which wanted to limit or even stop the Reform and Opening Up, suppress or even abolish the emerging private sector, and re-establish a state operated socialist economy with collective industry.

>Relatively small were the centrists who wanted to reorganise the policies of Reform and Opening Up, increase welfare, and improve strategies to make life more liveable for the workers.

<The smallest but most vocal faction was the rightists, which hardly existed in the beginning but grew as the protests progressed. They wanted further, accelerated liberalisation, expanded private industry, and towards the end, regime change.

<The violent extreme right, which did not emerge until towards the very end, the last few days, called for total privatisation of the economy and “Western style democracy now!” — in other words the immediate overthrow of the Communist Party.

<It was towards the right and extreme right that elaborate and powerful foreign influences pushed the entire protest movement.

When is there going to be a colour revolution in the west?

If you see military killed, burnt alive, and beaten to death, more signs in English than in the native language, it's more likely that a color revolution is going one.

>To date, there is not a single shred of authentic photographic, video, or any other kind of evidence from the dozens of foreign journalists and diplomats present at the time, or later revealed by wikileaks, for the “thousands” or “tens of thousands” of student and civilian protesters “massacred” by gun fire, run over by tanks, in or around the square, on June 4th or any of the other days of the uprising.

the US needs a US embassy inside the US first.

So nothing major happened and le west blew it out of proportion, presented it as something big

I asked AI/Gemini 2.5 and it is so fucking cucked. We need a socialist GPT already.

Ask the chyna one you stooped

>started rioting and burned down the exchange student dorms

no, AIs can't answer the question objectively, because mass liberal media has plagued the internet. and all AIs use and navigate through all the internet, not just sections of the left-wing, anti-imperialism, pro-socialist areas of internet.. good research requires good criticism, and AIs don't offer that.

>>2287071
uhhhh bros?

>>2287072
Tired of people pretending bibisi isnt a material force factor

libs go off vibes and pop culture when analyzing historical events, if it sounds like the YA novel they self insert into then Russia and China probably did it until proven otherwise is the core conceit

>>2287070
if its any concession when you point out its training data is full of anticommunist slop and maybe one or two marxists.org articles it will agree with you and say its bias

>>2287057
there already has been multiple color revolutions in the west. if the CIA can fund and arm reactionary movements abroad while making them appear more popular than they are, they can easily do the same thing domestically, and have been. People call it "domestic gladio"

>>2287117
So, le west is just like chyna then

>>2287081
give it a year, they'll "fix" that "problem"

>>2287120
how'd you get that out of my post?

>>2287064
Western media was pro-Deng at the time

The New Left and Han nationalists have split the original mass base of the liberals, it is unlikely that similar movements will re-emerge on such a scale again.

>>2287020
How are we against liberals if this is "leftypol"?

Is this whole website some kind of right wing psyop?

i don't live in the west but I and everyone else I knew never thought the man was crushed

I thought the outrage was over the fact that the government dared to deploy tanks to the city at all

>>2287020
A reminder of the nature of Tiananmen protests

>>2287693
this is your brain on individualism

>>2287531
Your first day Agent Johnson?

>>2287664
Please, you know full well this is not the case

Besides, USA uses national guard with heavy weapons every year to quell some riot, and nobody's ever squeaking about it, so, the use of tanks was never anything special - or you are just a hypocrite

I don't remember the George Floyd protestors burning National Guardsmen alive and hanging their charred corpses up on the wrecks of burnt-out buses.

>>2287700
They should have done that and disarm policemen as well

There was a tangible moment when protests were so widespread that all the talking heads started bowing to protestors and were hyperconscious about what they were saying

>>2287664
in america children are taught in school that the tanks ran over thousands of unarmed peaceful protesters to grind them into mush and then the army washed the bits of their bodies into the sewers.

>>2287411
Yeah? And? Le borgeosie support each other

>>2287702
You made that up

>>2287717
They also teach children creationism and visit churches every sunday. Crazy people

>>2287729
Made what up? The moment when democratic party was acting all social-democrat and trying to silence the protests by worming their way in?

>>2287731
Are you talking about chyna or 'merica?

>>2287733
I was talking about what American protesters should have done, not what China did

This was just Deng eliminating the ultra-liberals he himself created

>>2287693
kulak psychology

>>2287753
>Ultra-liberals claim they have support at the top
<Deng has created them! Down with Deng!

>>2287052
Wasn’t the whole thing about them letting black people into colleges?

>>2288070
A lot of things, really. The Tienanmen Square protests were essentially a whole mess of things, some righteous and some reactionary/counter revolutionary. Those that stayed to the very end were all radlibs.

its a good thing you posted this because i thought the same. im.glad i found out i was wrong about my presumptions.

>>2287020
>why do propagandized people believe propaganda
Because propaganda works really well

I feel like trying to "correct the record" is pointless against a sectarian opponent who doesn't feel particularly strongly about the concept of truth anyways. They only care about "their side" winning. It's a spectator sport in which their side is the everything material and yours is the wretches that are thrown at the lions in the arena.

At the end of the day, they'll just chant or behave however is fashionable for the attendees around them to. And you looking up and telling them about the incorrectness of their chauvinist slogans or the false identification of a particular group of soon to lion food foreigners isn't going to move them in the slightest. They'll just laugh and chant louder to make you mad because you were never on the same level anyway.

>>2287020
They never showed me entire footage.
