Our hands are full with work in the struggle against executioner culture. Far too many hymns have been sung in praise of the noble gallows of the so-called European continent.
We gnash our teeth behind the iron bars of a plague-ridden freedom. We’ve had enough of the mud of smuggled culture and stolen civilization. Enough!
We howl from the ancient cradle of culture. We, from the Balkans, howl: anti-culture!… anti-Europe!…
Madam Europe! We spit at your foul tongue and your ulcered, decaying soles. We hurl the bombs of our songs into your deformed European skies. We aim the cannons of our new ideas at the zenith of your silken bourgeoisie. At the zenith—not at the imaginary navel of God, the sole symbol of all European geniuses.
We curse culture with all our might—don’t we!? After all, the fish rots from the head—and the head is the stinking shark called Europe! That’s why, in the name of barbarian purity and primal barbarian love, we want to tear the mask off all the lies of savage humanism. We no longer want to be hypocritical Christians. Criminal Christianity is a delusion in the blood, guzzled for centuries by idiots and crawlers. Christ was great only as a man-sufferer. As a thinker, Christ was a plagiarist. What, then, can be said of his followers, those hired servants of every bourgeoisie?
Europe has outlived our youth—which it violently stole—and turned us, half-alive, into scattered graves. Europe, which rapes our minds, has imprisoned our bright intellects with its pornographic culture. And over the graves of our hajduk ancestors, it shamelessly lifts its skirt above the waist—over the graves of noble barbarians, Europe dances jazz, foxtrot, and shimmy.
We have come a long and arduous way through bitter struggle: from cultural individualism to barbarian collectivism. We, the Zenitist hajduks, are in the jungle of culture and komite in the wilderness of civilization—fighting for a new barbarian era of life! Everything else is a carnival of European paralysis and politics. Everything else is the trash of European literature in art. Everything else is the romanticism of syphilis-culture.
