>corrupt dictator
>neglected constitution to keep power
>regularly suppresses freedom of speech press and assembly
>turned his country into an impoverished shithole
>sent millions of his men to die in a meatgrinder
>closed the border preventing anyone from leaving
>executes political dissidents
Pic entirely unrelated, so what do you think about Zelensky?

File: 1748952805378-0.jpg (401.44 KB, 1152x2048, putin sex change.jpg)

File: 1748952805378-1.jpg (26.32 KB, 549x656, putin fucked up.jpg)

Reminder.

they both fall under that description, only that zelensky did nothing he said he would in 2019 because he's a puppet and Putin does not follow any manifesto or platform

All those who hate Zelensky have been blown up by the Russians on the front lines. The remaining nationalist teenage students and those yet to be born will regard him as a national hero, just like countless examples in the history of war. That’s how it goes.

don't forget zelenskyy banned all the left opposition parties at the beginning of the war

If Zelensky/Putin done all of this I still wouldn't care since I'm not a liberal unlike you

Here is an infinitely more valuable critique formulated in a single sentence
>Russia/Ukraine is a bourgeois shithole that kills workers

>>2295596
Because they were rightfully opposed the war, Russia did the same

>>2295608
Hmm, nuanced.

>>2295488
t. liberal

>>2295608

soldiers are worker, especially if conscripted, therefore, any communist state that wages war against another state is killing workers

>>2295609
>Russia did the same
Proof?

>>2295484
women over 50 love to buy those magazines for some reason. they're not even funny in an unhinged way

>>2295488
Putin literally has an 87% approval rate and his ruling party is in a popular front with the communists. Zelenskyy meanwhile is a Zionist tyrant commits genocide

>>2295618
>soliders moving into your land to forcefully conquer you and remove your freedoms
>you defend yourself to keep your way of life
>some armchair leftist online: "noo you can't kill workers! just have class conciousness bro!"

>>2295622
he's only in a popular front with communists because of the war

>>2295622
> 87% approval rate
Holy shit russians are cucks

>>2295889
To be fair it's because he managed to turn Russia from a cesspit into a place that is liveable.

>>2295892
bruh he was part of the government that made Russia a cesspit
he's part of a capitalist oligarchy

>>2295898
That is irrelevant because when he did have actual power he reversed a lot of Yeltsin's policies. His power and influence were also limited during shock therapy because he was a nobody intelligence officer. Also just because your an administrator does not mean you agree with policies being done. He reigned in on a lot of the corrupt oligarchs during the 2000s and Russians haven't forgotten that. Also the approval is for Putin alone and not the party he originated from. Putin is an independent politician in the country.

MUH KONSTITOOSHONN

>>2295919
FREEDUUUUMMM AND DEMOCROWCYYYYYYY

>getting invaded by retarded Russia
>supresses stuff to deal with war time
<HHHHISSS A DICTATOR!!! YOU SEE! STUPID LIBERAL!

Absolute state of Ziggers, beyond retarded, Jesus Fucking Christ.

>>2295929
>war isn’t popular
>has to kidnap civilians to keep fighting
>won’t hold elections because war
<erm have you not considered that he is just suppressing stuff during war?
Yeah, he’s suppressing the desires of the population to not die in a lost war by forcing them to the front.

>>2295935
What you said LITERALLY applies to Russia to a T, I think you picked the wrong country, buddy.

>>2295929
While russia is doing the exact same thing lol

>>2295929
don't indiscriminately shell dombass like israel does to palestine then

>>2295940
I am a LITERAL Russian and I call your bullshit. Nobody kidnaps civillians here LFMAO, our professional army is doing well enough both for Putin and for the majority of the population.

>>2295954
Stfu nationalist

>>2295954
>I'm literally a target group to be manipulated by the government to not know everything they are doing and only get to see the good side

Terrible low I.Q

he's right
you people are using literal neoliberal talking points, what's next, sourcing radio free europe? Do North Koreans eat grass?

>>2295959
Nice racism.

>>2295958
He is right and way to assume he is a nationalist for pointing out real facts instead of BBC talking points

Is Putin white?

>>2295962
>muh racism card

Ridiculous

Putin can be criticised. Putins conduct of this invasion can be criticised. But the problem with using "inter imperialist" to refer to this conflict is that it is exceedingly clear both Ukraine is turning more genuinely ultranationalist and that regardless of who "wins" that ultranationalism will still be in power in Kiev. So to support Ukraine is useless and detrimental to the cause of socialism. Protecting the regions of Ukraine that separated, and thus preserve the workers right to organise more, is worth supporting.

>>2295966
Most likely not, see picrelated.
>>2295967
Claiming that masses of the country you don't like are "brainwashed" and thus have no agency and their opinions can easily be dismissed is a modern form of "white man's burden" paternalistic racism even when it is argued in good faith.

Ukraine banned its communist party under Poroshenko in 2015. Zelensky simply banned the rest of the left opposition parties in 2022 after the invasion. Instead of pretending history started in 2022 how about you look at the history of Ukraine since 1991

>privatization and shock therapy, just like Russia, but even worse

>NATO promises not to expand eastward but keeps expanding anyway, going back on promises in secret talks with Gorbachev that were only finally declassified in the 2010s
>Cooperation with US in global war on terror, including contributing 5000 troops to Iraq War NATO coalition despite not being in NATO (4th largest contributor to the NATO coalition against Iraq after US/UK/France)
>George W Bush started floating the idea of NATO expansion into Ukraine befor he was even out of office (vid related)
>This already exists in the context of the Georgian proxy war against Russia
>ideologically torn between economic cooperation with Russians and EU, specifically choosing between aid packages
>Yanukovych chooses Russia because lower interest rates and cheap energy
>this enrages the US and they coup him during Euromaidan by funding and arming the far right who snipe people from the roofs and take advantage of the chaos
>leaked Victoria Nuland phone call justifies the coup
>Biden family benefits from the coup, Hunter Biden placed on board of Ukrainian gas firm, makes money as a consultant despite not knowing anything about that industry
>Civil war starts
>Crimea holds referendum, becomes part of Russia, NATO media frames this as an "annexation" even though the majority of Crimeans have always seen themselves as Russian and the Crimea was only given to Ukrainian SSR for economic planning reasons under Khruschev.
>shelling of Donbass and Luhansk 2015-2019
>Lindsey Graham on the eve of Trump's first election visits Ukrainian troops with John McCain and Amy Klobuchar, says "This fight is our fight, 2017 will be the year of offense (against Russia)"
>Trump takes office instead of Hillary
>the War is essentially postponed until 2022 as a result
>Ukrainians elect Zelensky, with massive support coming from separatist regions, because he is a Russian speaking Jew who claims he wants peace and no more civil war or escalation with Russia or crackdowns on dual-language schooling
>it doesn't matter, he is actually a neoliberal scumbag who immediately caves to the USA and nazi territorial defense units
>Russia invades in 2022 after 8 years of civil war to help separatists who have specifically requested their help.
>Just like Afghanistan in the 80s NATO frames this as unprovoked Russian aggression even though the Russians were invited in by an ally
>Russia does not do Iraq style "shock and awe" campaign, instead holds off on destroying infrastructure and is very careful about green corridors and civilian evacuation
>Ukrainian army constantly kills their own civilians in the separatist regions (to punish them for being separatist) and blames the Russians
>Ukrainian army stages artillery in schools and hospitals to bait Russian counter-strikes and then says "wow Russia is bombing schools and hospitals"
>NATO media gives megaphone to every crazy Ukrainian army claim
>Biden promises on camera to destroy nordstream 2 if Russia invades Ukraine, baffles the press who ask him how that's possible since it's also owned by Germany
>Biden fulfills his promise to destroy nord stream 2. NATO in lockstep blames Russia even though they have no incentive to destroy their own energy infrastructure

Every single step of this has been insane.

the history of every post-soviet state has just been corruption on an untold scale
except belarus of course

>>2295980
Dude, Russia literally don't have freedom of speech, you're just trying to cop out and say that I'm racist or some shit to deny that Russia do and it is on the same shitty situation as Ukraine, you just sound like a propagandist trying to defend the regime than a person seeking truth.

>>2295990
Ukraine has been especially cucked by the west since 1991. As George W Bush boasted in 2007, "Ukraine is the only non-NATO country that has supported every NATO mission" including the destruction of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Yugoslavia.

>>2295993
before the invasion, there used to be far right parades in russia in support of the ukies

>>2295993
Where did I denied that Russia is a corrupt dicatorship of one cringy KGBoomer? I know it, most literate people here know it, it's just that Ukraine is (and was) even more of a corrupt dictatorship.

>>2295993
It's a shitty situation but it's not "the same" or even close. There are real material differences between Russia and Ukraine that the US is exploiting in the hopes of making Russia more like Ukraine (and possibly even balkanize it into ethnic republics like Yugoslavia).

see >>2295984

Did Russia provide troops for the NATO coalition in Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq? No, Ukraine did.

Did Russia ban its communist party (KRPF)? No, Ukraine did banned its Communist party though.

We say "look, Putin is the bitch of Yeltsin" but Ukraine ist he land of 1000 Yeltsins. That's what people don't get. When the west opposes Putin, it's because they want to replace him with someone even worse. NATO's dream is to balkanize Russia into ethnic republics that are all simps for the West. This is a long term effort to encircle China with US-backed Taiwan-style Ukraine-Style Israel-Style US satellites.
