i hate when people say "Russia and Ukraine is just capitalist imperialists fighting over resources, you shouldn't support any side!" like no shit the stage of economic development we're in is capitalism and every power is functionally capitalist whether they admit to it or not. Marxists should understand historical materialism better than anyone else but ig not.
>>2297473>I agree with your point anyway let me keep talking about purely hypothetical "support"then you don't agree and missed the point entirely. let me repeat for the benefit of you:
>supportmillions of words wasted on the question of immaterial support (cheerleading) on leftypol dot org
nobody "supports" anyone or anything unless they send weapons and/or money and/or soldiers
The US provides real
MATERIAL support to 73 percent of the world's dictatorships (money, guns, troops)
leftypolers run their mouth about immaterial "support" (cheerleading) online all day long

Why won't you read Marx & Lenin?
>>2297873>the framing that conveniently ignores NATO, ignores Donbass, ignores Luhansk and frames it as "Russia vs Ukraine"really makes u think…
anyway I leave you with famous "zigger" Gaddafi who was killed (also by NATO)
>>2298261>ignore the remark about NATO>ignore the Gaddafi video<make it about how Donetsk and Luhansk are Zigger-Occupied-GovernmentsWell if you're going to make it about that, and still ignore the imperial entity orchestrating this entire conflict, let's look at the history of Donbass. Donbass historically was part of Russia, the reason it became part of the Ukrainian SSR in 1922 wasn't for ethno-linguistic reasons, but for strategic reasons. Lenin wanted to integrate the Ukrainian agriculture with the Donbass industry. The majority of people living in Donbass spoke Russian and did not have Ukrainian or cossack heritage. Later on Khruschev gave Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR. When the USSR collapsed, Bourgeois Ukraine got to keep the territories it acquired during the USSR's existence. OK fine. Nobody was really bothered by this. However, after the US-backed coup in 2014 that put Poroshenko in power, right wing territorial defense units began shelling donbass, trying to enforce speaking Ukrainian in Donbass, trying to ethnically cleanse non-Ukrainians from Donbass (not just Russians but also Romani people) etc.
This is the real thing that led to Donbass separatist movements. Are those separatist movements receiving help from Russia? Yes. But the Kurds received help from America. Just like it's reductive to reduce Kurdistan to a "US Puppet" because they get help from America, it's reductive to reduce Donetsk and Luhansk to "Russian puppets" because they get help from Russia. They have their own reason for the alliance.

It's funny how both the right and left wing of capital still display the same level of orientalism. Searching for eternal wisdom in the speech of a noble savage great man as if it is some kind of authority on anything.
