Every attempt I made to engage with his work I lost interest because it's pure, unfiltered idealism. He even wrote extensively about "anarchist ethics." I'm also suspicious that the picture they use for him everywhere makes him look like Santa Claus, since I think that is a form of manipulation to try and steer people into his work to keep them from more heavy theory.

I think there is a reason that all the people I know IRL that like him are Christian socialists/anarchists. I think there is a Nietzschean reason that is the case.
