What we really need to adapt to the new internet is more commies with websites participating in webrings, making text essays and touching grass of both the digital and physical veriety. We still outnumber chvds on that front, but they're slowly catching up.
Web revival is inevitable, not a movement, but the result of the current conditions of the web in motion. Staying on twitter (that will likely get shut own when elon gets deported) rather than learning to make an RSS feed is luddite nonsense.
Starting with debate on the web front is like starting with a community garden on the meat front.
