>>2304512When the UN recognizes "Palestine" as a real country, then maybe I'll take it seriously.
Right now, Israel is a legitimate state fighting a terrorist organization. Although my hopes and prayers are with the people of the entire war-torn area, you have to be a mature adult and recognize that wars are complex and have casualties and atrocities on both sides. Instead, people choose to side with the "underdog" against the "evil oppressors" in the IDF. Looking at the conflict overall, Israel behaves with far more civility and restraint compared to Hamas, though I admit that's partly because they're scrutinized more heavily and have to live up to the higher standards of a ruling government for the sake of legitimacy.
That said, if we had to be simple-minded about this whole ordeal, I have NEVER seen a more obvious "good guy" in a conflict. One side is for democracy and civilization, the other is full is Islamist reactionaries who want the region returned to the Stone Age.

truly evil people
>>2304749>they will at least torture them for sureDoubt. there was an aljazeera guy and a French MEP there as well as Greta. Israel gains nothing from torturing them and the people in the flotilla will still have terrible thigns to say of the Zionists. So it's not even useful as domestic propaganda. Especially since the liberal Zionist angle is that Netanyahu bad because he strains the western support for their settler colonial project, not the Zionism itself.
I expect a round of EU condemnation and then pats on the back all around for having been "tough on Netanyahu" or w/e and securing the release. Israel doesn't want to make problems for it's backers despite having to wrangle a nation of deranged supremacist fanatics.
>>2304802Squirrel is an actual person with actual power to move opinions and that entails a responsibility in what positions are taken. Their backing of the flotilla serves a practical goal, even if it is a performative nonsense and probably an EU glowop. If more flotillas can be summoned, with grassroots organizing it can actually be a good thing as they say. I agree with the squirrel.
But it's not because Greta Thunberg is aboard, if anything it's the contrary. I can yell that Greta is a filthy liberal plant all day here because it has zero impact on anything, this is a korean basket weaving forum. I would not be expressing this opinion if I though it would hamper solidarity in any way or in a public setting with my name attached to it and for every vulture to exploit.

>>2305480https://aje.io/p6b8m7?update=3763699Sweden: Citizens bear responsibility for travelling to Gaza after warningsPaul Rhys
Reporting from Stockholm, Sweden
After Greta Thunberg made an appeal for pressure to be put on the Swedish government to release her and the other activists from the Israelis, the Foreign Ministry released a statement saying consular support could be offered to her and any other Swedes.
Thatβs how it stood for most of the day. But within the last hour, Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard was interviewed outside the Swedish parliament.
She said the assessment of the situation is that the activists on the Madleen are not in any danger and, therefore, arenβt in need of consular support.
Stenergard said people have been advised against travelling to Gaza by the Swedish government for the past 10 years, and those who do bear a certain amount of responsibility.
At this stage, those comments are nowhere near as strong as the messages coming from some other governments of the activists taken by Israel.

https://aje.io/p6b8m7?update=3763935Captured Madleen aid ship expected to reach Israel in a few hours
The Freedom Flotilla Coalitionβs vessel seized by Israel is expected to reach the port of Ashdod in the coming hours.
βThe Madleen is expected to reach land in the evening hours. All kinds of consular support is being provided to our citizens, and the necessary initiatives have been taken to meet with them and ensure their release as soon as they disembark,β unnamed Turkish diplomatic sources told the Anadolu news agency..
Ankara has remained in close contact with other countries whose citizens are on board the vessel, they said, with families of Turkish nationals regularly updated.
The Madleen was intercepted and seized by Israeli forces about 185km (100 nautical miles) off Gaza. The seizure has sparked international condemnation(*) because the boat carrying aid for Gaza was in international waters.

Published On 9 Jun 20259 Jun 2025
Israel has intercepted a Gaza-bound aid ship, preventing the 12 activists on board, including Swedish climate campaigner Greta Thunberg, from reaching the blockaded Palestinian territory.
Israeli forces βforcibly interceptedβ the Madleen in international waters overnight about 100 nautical miles (185km) from Gaza, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition NGO said in a statement on Monday. Al Jazeera lost contact with the vessel at 7:00 GMT.
Apart from Thunberg, those taken into custody by Israel are Palestinian French Member of the European Parliament Rima Hassan, Baptiste Andre, Pascal Maurieras, Yanis Mhamdi and Reva Viard from France; Thiago Avila from Brazil; Suayb Ordu from Turkiye; Sergio Toribio from Spain; Marco van Rennes from the Netherlands; Yasemin Acar from Germany; and Omar Faiad, a journalist with Al Jazeera Mubasher, also from France.
Israel has detained the crew for βinterrogationβ.
Hereβs how the world has reacted:
PalestineThe interception of the Madleen is a βflagrant violation of international lawβ, Hamas said in a statement, calling for the activists on board to be released and saying it holds Israel βfully accountable for their safetyβ.
βIsrael has no legal authority to restrict access to Palestine since such is within the exclusive right of the Palestinian people,β said the rights organisation Al-Haq, which is based in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
IranβThe assault on this flotilla, since it happened in international waters, is considered a form of piracy under international law,β said Esmaeil Baqaei, a spokesman for Iranβs Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
TurkiyeIsraelβs interception of the Madleen is a βclear violation of international lawβ that βonce again demonstrates that Israel is acting as a terror stateβ, Turkiyeβs Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
FrancePresident Emmanuel Macron βhas asked that our six French nationals be allowed to return to France as soon as possible,β said the Elysee Palace in a press release. βWe have asked to be able to exercise our consular protection over themβ and to βvisit themβ, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot added.
SpainSpain has summoned Dan Poraz, charge dβaffaires at the Israeli embassy in Madrid, reported the Spanish newspaper El Pais and Al Jazeera Arabic, quoting a source at Spainβs Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
AustraliaThe Jewish Council of Australia has expressed βgrave concerns for the activists on board the Gaza Freedom Flotillaβ and called βon the Australian government to urgently intervene to secure the immediate release of the vessel and safety of the crewβ.
United StatesβWe strongly condemn the cowardly and illegal Israeli attack on the Madleen as it approached Gaza with desperately needed humanitarian supplies,β the Council on American-Islamic Relations said. βWe applaud Greta Thunberg and the other activists of the Madleen who bravely risked their safety and freedom to help the starving people of Gaza.β
European ParliamentIsraelβs seizure of the Madleen βoutside Israeli territorial watersβ is a βblatant violation of international lawβ, said The Left, the European Parliament faction that Hassan belongs to. βThe arrest of the crew members and the confiscation of aid intended for a population in immediate humanitarian distress is unacceptable and is clearly part of a wider strategy to starve and massacre Palestinians in Gaza while hiding Israeli war crimes from the world.β
United NationsβMadleen must be released immediately,β United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territory Francesca Albanese said. βBreaking the siege is a legal duty for states and a moral imperative for all of us. Every Mediterranean port should send boats with aid, solidarity and humanity to Gaza. They shall sail together β united, they will be unstoppable.β
Amnesty International
βAs the occupying power (as recognised by the ICJ [International Court of Justice]), Israel has a legal obligation to ensure civilians in Gaza have sufficient food and medicine. They should have let Madleen deliver its humanitarian supplies to Gaza,β said Agnes Callamard, secretary-general of Amnesty International, asserting that Israelβs interception of the Madleen βviolates international lawβ.

These agreements were signed with the approval of bodies in the Defense Ministry, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and special approval from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In order to make the sales, the companies were required to get approval from the Foreign Ministry, the Defense Ministry, and the prime minister.

AM has ran this:
A US military official told Al-Mayadeen: Military families have been allowed to leave Central Command operations sites.A US military official told Al Mayadeen that US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has authorized the voluntary departure of military families from Central Command deployment sites, stressing that this decision falls within the framework of precautionary measures to ensure the safety of personnel.
He explained, "The safety and security of American service members and their families is a top priority for the United States," noting that US Central Command continues to monitor developments in regional tensions in the Middle East.
He emphasized that Central Command works in close coordination with allies and partners in the region, noting that US forces maintain a constant state of readiness to support any number of missions, anywhere, anytime, around the world.
<"Precautionary measures"In this context, a US State Department official confirmed to Al-Mayadeen that President Donald Trump is "committed to preserving the safety of Americans, both inside and outside the United States," noting that this commitment is reflected in "continuous assessments of the conditions of our employees at all US embassies around the world."
He explained that "based on the latest security analyses, it has been decided to reduce the number of personnel in our mission in Iraq," as part of what he described as precautionary measures based on developments in the region.
<What did the US measures include?Earlier , Reuters, citing an Iraqi security official and an American source, revealed that the US embassy in Baghdad had begun preparations for an "orderly evacuation" in light of the escalation of what it described as "security risks in the region."

https://geopolitiq.substack.com/p/iran-reveals-some-details-of-trove
>As reported by IRNA (Islamic Republic News Agency), Tasnim News Agency and Al Mayadeen, yesterday (Tuesday 10th June 2025) the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence revealed a few more details about its operation and the documents obtained from Israel, which pertain to βillegal and covert nuclear weapons program, including its nuclear facilities, its current and future nuclear plans, as well as research collaborations with American and European institutionsβ, not to mention βmilitary and missile programs, technical records of dual-use scientific and technical projects, as well as the names, profiles, images, and addresses of managers, officials, and scientists involved in these projectsβ. Here is the statement released by the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence (from IRNA - all emphasis mine):
<The Ministry of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran, through an unprecedented intelligence operation, dealt a heavy blow to the child-killing Zionist regime. This historic operation, designed to access sensitive, strategic, and top-secret classified documents of the regime, was successfully carried out in a dynamic operational environment under the strictest security measures. It was recently completed, with a substantial volume of documents transferred into the country, and all agents have returned safely to their bases.
<One of the key discoveries is that the Zionist regime, in addition to employing its own citizens, has also hired researchers from other nationalities, whose full details have been obtained. Portions of these documents will be released to inform the Iranian people, while some scientific and research findings will be utilized domestically and shared with relevant institutions.
<A significant portion of the documents will be used by our Armed Forces, while others may be exchanged with allied nations or provided to anti-Zionist organizations and groups.
<The obtained evidence clearly demonstrates how the U.S. and certain European countries have played β and continue to play β the role of backers, collaborators, and contractors in advancing the criminal Zionist regimeβs weapons programs, all while hypocritically accusing the Islamic Republic of Iran of pursuing non-peaceful activities with double standards.
<Among the most striking documents obtained are numerous false reports submitted by the criminal Zionist regime to certain international institutions [IAEA?] against our countryβs peaceful nuclear program. Even more telling is the exact replication of these deceitful claims in the reports and statements of those institutions.
<The methods by which the Ministry of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic accessed the Zionist regimeβs documents and extracted them from the occupied Palestinian territories were meticulously planned and executed, completely bypassing the regimeβs multiple security layers and intricate protective corridors.
>Al Mayadeen reported that Iranian Fars News Agency had examined some of the documents and revealed that indeed Iranian βofficial and confidential communications with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), containing sensitive nuclear information, were funneled to the espionage agencies of the Israeli occupation regime through covert channelsβ, quoting an informed source as saying (emphasis added):
<These documents clearly show that instead of playing a neutral role, the IAEA has become an instrument serving the objectives of the Zionist regime.
<The IAEA, which should act as a neutral international body, has instead compromised Iranian sovereignty and scientistsβ safety.https://news.antiwar.com/2025/06/11/us-reducing-personnel-in-the-middle-east-amid-iran-tensions/US Anticipating Potential Israeli Attack on Iran
<Updated on June 11, 2025, at 8:31 pm EST
>The US is on high alert in the Middle East and is anticipating a potential Israeli attack on Iran, The Washington Post has reported. Amid the anticipation, the US is reducing the presence of non-essential personnel in the region.
>The report said that βin recent months, US intelligence officials have grown increasingly concerned that Israel may choose to strike Iranβs nuclear facilities without the consent of the United States.β
>US officials told The Associated Press on Wednesday that the military has authorized theΒ βvoluntary departureβ of the dependents of US troops from locations across the Middle East.
>The US is also evacuating personnel from its embassy in Iraq. A State Department official told Al-Monitor that the US is βconstantly assessing the appropriate personnel posture at all our embassies. Based on our latest analysis, we decided to reduce the footprint of our mission in Iraq.β
>The State Department has authorized the departure of non-essential personnel at its embassies in Kuwait and Bahrain, providing them with the option to leave rather than a mandatory evacuation.
>The news came after Iranβs defense minister warned that Tehran would hit US bases in the region if a βconflict is imposedβ on Iran. Iranian officials have previously said that they would hold the US responsible for an Israeli attack due to the USβs significant military support for Israel.
>Previous reports have said that Israel was considering attacking Iran to disrupt negotiations between the US and Iran. According to The New York Times, Israeli officials close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believe that the βUS would have no choice but to assist Israel militarily if Iran counterattacked.β
>The current tensions come as Netanyahu is facing a political crisis as ultra-Orthodox parties are threatening to dissolve the Knesset over the lack of a draft exemption law for Israelβs Haredi Orthodox Jews.
>President Trump has also been threatening to bomb Iran if he fails to reach a nuclear deal, and he continues to publicly demand the elimination of Tehranβs nuclear enrichment program, which is a non-starter for Iranian officials.
>Trump said in an interview released Wednesday that he was βless confidentβ that a deal would be reached with Iran. According to a recent report from Axios, Trump gave Iran a deadline of June 12, this Thursday, to reach an agreement.
>In another sign that the US may be preparing to take military action or back an Israeli attack on Iran, Gen. Michael Kurilla, the head of US Central Command (CENTCOM), postponed testimony he was set to deliver to Congress on Thursday due to tensions in the Middle East.
>Amid the news that the US is evacuating its embassy in Baghdad, Iranβs mission to the UN reiterated in a post on X that Tehran is not seeking a nuclear weapon.
>βThreats of βoverwhelming forceβ wonβt change facts: Iran is not seeking a nuclear weapon, and US militarism only fuels instability,β the mission said. βDiplomacyβnot militarismβis the only path forward.β >>2313616The IAEA is chiefly a western organisation, so its being under the supervision of Five Eyes and its allies isn't news.
The Iranian government are seeking leverage as a way to deter Israel by placing potential strain on its supporters, specifically with sensitive information that could be damning or jeopardize status quo support within its nations. Again, that being said, the US is owned by AIPAC with anti-boycott laws so the effects will be negligible for the Trump administration; doubly so considering its continual vetoing of the continual UN resolutions for a ceasefire.
If Israel cannot be brought before the Hague, then they will not be bowed by Iranian espionage. It is likely to be a bluff.
>>2314141Yeah, at risk of sounding too much of a zigger. The IAEA behaved like a NATO front in the Ukraine war, granting cover for Ukrainian side attacks on nuclear facilities and betraying their role to do NATO propaganda about the ZNPP.
Much like the lady in picrel, they may operate within the UN but seem thoroughly, and shamelessly, subservient to NATO. to the point of completely discrediting their role.

>βCould it be that the Israeli security services were sent by the prime minister and the finance minister to move Israeli funds abroad, so that they would return to Gaza as humanitarian aid?β Lapid asks, noting that GHF CEO Jake Wood resigned yesterday. Wood said it is βclear that this program cannot be implemented while strictly adhering to the principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence.βWestern media agrees its Israeli:
>According to The New York Times, the project wasnβt simply built in coordination with Israel, but is βan Israeli brainchildβ proposed during a 2023 meeting of βlike-minded officials, military officers and business people with close ties to the Israeli government.β >>2315566>>2315528Hamas has killed at least 50 members of the Israeli-backed Popular Forces in clashes today in Gaza, according to a statement by the militia group. Tehran publishes secret Israeli documents revealing Grossi's cooperation with Israel. What did they include?Iranian media outlets published the first batch of secret documents obtained by the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence on Thursday, as part of a sophisticated intelligence operation. The documents reveal what they described as "full and direct cooperation" between the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, and the Israeli occupation entity, with the aim of targeting Iran's peaceful nuclear program.
According to the Iranian Fars News Agency, the documents show that Grossi not only coordinated with Israeli representatives within the agency, but also adopted their dictates and ensured that the agency's reports were directed in a manner that served the occupation's objectives, while ignoring Israel's undeclared and non-peaceful nuclear activities.
The leaked documents include detailed information about Merav Zafary-Odiz, who served as Israel's official representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from 2014 to 2016, publicly expressing Israel's positions during official meetings of the agency and its Board of Governors.
During that period, particularly during the implementation of the JCPOA, Zafari-Odiz repeatedly criticized Iran's cooperation with the IAEA, describing it as "slow and insufficient," while accusing the IAEA's previous administration, led by Yukiya Amano, of providing "misinformation" about Iran's nuclear program.
According to the documents, leaked emails revealed a special mission undertaken by Zafari-Odiz, which involved direct coordination with Grossi, with the aim of influencing the agency's position and shifting international focus away from Israel's undeclared and non-peaceful nuclear activities toward Iran's peaceful nuclear program.
The leaked emails, according to the documents, indicate that Zafari-Odiz was tasked with a specific mission: to divert international public opinion away from Israel's unmonitored nuclear program, while simultaneously disrupting Iran's peaceful nuclear program.
<Grossi began his cooperation with the Israeli entity since his appointment as Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.According to Iranian media, Grossi's appointment as IAEA Director General marked a "dangerous turning point." Grossi began his cooperation with the entity in 2016 and coordinated reports against Iran's peaceful nuclear activities . One document shows coordination between the entity and Grossi to incite anti-Iran sentiment just five months after the nuclear agreement was concluded .
Iranian media also reported that the documents revealed a request by Zafari-Odiz for an immediate meeting with Grossi on May 10, 2016, to discuss unspecified "new developments." Subsequent emailsβwhich have yet to be translated from Hebrew to Persianβreported correspondence between her and an individual named Eli Rettig, in the context of coordinating a media and political strategy to confront Iran within the IAEA.
According to published documents, the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence asserts that this systematic cooperation between Grossi and "Israel" comes within the framework of a broader strategy aimed at undermining any international recognition of the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program and transforming the agency into a biased political tool.

Israeli aggression against Iran… Katz declares a state of emergency in the occupied entity
The Israeli occupation launched an attack on Iran at dawn on Friday, targeting the capital, Tehran.
Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in Iran reported hearing explosions in the capital, Tehran. Reuters quoted US officials as saying that Israel had carried out attacks in Iran.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation revealed that "the United States had prior knowledge of the Israeli attack on Iran."
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz declared a state of emergency across the entire home front.
Katz said that "following Israel's preemptive strike against Iran, a missile and drone attack on Israel is expected soon."
In the same context, the Israeli Home Front Command issued instructions to settlers to remain near shelters and fortified rooms.
The Israeli security cabinet held a meeting after declaring a state of emergency, according to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority.
For its part, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that "Israeli airspace was completely closed."
For its part, the Israeli occupation army named the aggression against Iran "Assad's People."
He said in a statement that "the strikes included military command targets, military sites, headquarters, and nuclear sites."
The statement claimed that the goal of the operation was to "eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat."
In recent days , tensions have escalated in the region, with reports that Israel may be preparing to launch a military strike against Iranian nuclear facilities, amid growing US concern about a potentially deadly Iranian response following an Israeli strike.
>>2317008>>2316995Nazi's pet fascists in Eastern Europe during WW2 were still vicious nationalists killing all other groups despite the Germans seeing them as subhumans next on the genocide hit list. Similar situation is going on in Israel. Black and brown "jews" will always been seen as subhumans by the white ruling caste. Even if they supposedly share an ethnicity they are nothing but useful idiots for the white Ashkenazi.
"Jews" don't exist. Their ethnicity is fake.

>Iranβs state news agency IRNA reported that at least a dozen civilians were killed in the Israeli strikes in Tehran alone.
>Israel attacked at least six military bases around Tehran, including Parchin, and residential homes at two highly secure complexes for military commanders and multiple residential buildings around Tehran, in what appears to be targeted assassinations, according to four senior Iranian officials.
>>2317190They're totally dependent on a world system that actually has become extraordinarily negative against them, I think irreversibly.
People act as if, because Israel can hurt and kill people, that this is somehow good for them. Israel does not think beyond one day in the future. If that. They are certainly weakened and destroyed. That doesn't need to be said. They will do nothing against China or Russia.
All that matters however, is stopping their massacres and genocides.
