>>2350680>t. larping happeningcel that's trapped in a fed honeypot>>2350688>>>patriots.win>>2350687honestly this Zohran dude has annoying libshit vibes, he will probably lose
>>2350695Worst case scenario is he just sucks as mayor and doesn't get anything done. At best, New York gets 21st century La Guardiasm. A multi-lingual Italian teamed up with socialists and other reformers to oust the Irish political establishment, now its Asians doing it to the Italians. But I'd vote for him.
>>2350723Possibly not, it might take two weeks because it's a ranked-choice voting system.
>>2350816I've got a lot of disqualifications. I'm too old, I smoke drugs, I've been 5150ed, I don't believe Israel has the right to exist. Only thing I'm missing is if I was gay and trans.
If you get your draft card, just walk around in public screaming about how much you hate Israel until you get an involuntary psych hold.
I really do believe that the hate and the apathy and the teardowns and the personal attacks and the lack of support from basically anyone else on the left is the hardest part about doing what I do.
I've never been attacked by right-wingers. I've never had a right-winger write an email to me telling me to kill myself. I've had left-wingers do that. I've had to delete ten comments in one day of just people, probably from this website, Loki, just calling me all types of terrible things.
And it's like—is the goal to win or to lose? I don't think anyone has a goal other than to tear people down and put them back in the bucket. I'm almost certain that this magazine I've been trying to get off the ground will not last more than another two, three months. In a way, it's like I tried my very best. I put everything I had into it.
I've had so many people just email me terrible fucking things, dude. I didn't think I would get so much hate from people I thought would be my allies. I thought I would get hate from right-wingers, sure. I thought I'd have right-wingers hating on me. But all the hate has come from other leftists. All the animosity has come from people who supposedly believe basically the same thing I do.
People who could write for me are the people who hate me the most. Why am I sacrificing my mental health for people who genuinely dislike me, people who are genuinely rooting for me to fail, people who are genuinely happy to see me suffer?
And I'm almost to the point where I get so many hate messages that I'm like—there are probably more people rooting for me to fail than people who want me to succeed. And if that's the case, then that's the case. I don't want to do this anymore.
I want to be someone who's worth rooting for, not someone who's better to be laughed at.
>>2350917You know there was a guy before you who was trying to do a magazine that was like directly associated with this site called New Multitude. Even put Alyunas on it. Still wound up dying because he wasn't really able to garner interest and get people to write for it even though I think he was trying to pay people.
I don't think hate mail is warranted, but people in leftists spaces are very much against self-promotion and advertising and all that. I saw in the trueanon subreddit you also seemed to have built up a negative reputation. More than that, just stop with all the histrionics and woe is me posting. You'll probably end up deleting this long as post I'm replying to in a few minutes. I've seen you do it a number of times on here already.
>>2350920
Now, actual criticism is the hour-long discussion I had about how we talk about who is homeless and who is unhoused and how these words are manipulated by the liberal media to present a picture that's both more rosy than it needs to be while also denying the people who are on the very bottom rungs of society the support they need to be. I talked to somebody about this for like an hour and a half, and I am of a certain opinion and they are of a certain opinion, and we don't agree, but that's discussion and feedback and criticism that I could take and I could think about. You should kill yourself, you grifter, is not criticism. That's not – I can't do anything with that. I think it's kind of interesting that there are so many leftists who are like rich Brooklynites who make a quarter million dollars a year or more peddling media leftism, and those are the people who will tell you, I just take the grill pill, just don't worry about it, bro. I have never taken a passive stance on anything. We're action-oriented, and I'm the one who gets attacked.
I live in a fucking motel and I have $40 to my name, bro. I am the working class. These fucking other people are pretending to be, and it bothers me. It really fucking bothers me. It bothers me that I can't even engage with other leftist media anymore because I'm like, y'all motherfuckers don't know about the struggle. Y'all motherfuckers don't know what it is to be going hungry. Y'all motherfuckers don't know what it is to be bumming people for rides and shit. Y'all motherfuckers don't know what it is to be with the homeboy and you're like, yo, we have a truck. Can we do some Craigslist gigs to get some cash? What can we fucking do to get some money? We're fucking broke. We need to eat. They don't understand that. They sit in a room all day and act as fucking media streamers, bro. And they're worth millions of dollars. Why do you think they're worth millions of dollars while I fucking toil and struggle and suffer? It's because the class position of those people was way higher just to begin with. The class position of somebody like Hassan is just simply exceedingly higher than mine. But I don't even get to rep- we don't even get to represent ourselves. The working class doesn't even get to speak for ourselves. It all has to be filtered through these rich-ass media leftists. And I guess that's how we would prefer it. I guess we would prefer the spokesperson for the left, the most popular and well-known leftist, be a guy who only got to the position he is in because his uncle founded the Young Turks. My uncle smokes meth. I'm from a trailer park in South Louisiana, not from Los Angeles, not from Brooklyn. I'm a different breed of motherfucker than these people and they hate me for it.

>>2351462I’m quite close to embracing antisemitism for the first time in my life. If there is no justice in this world then what is there to do? If this crakkker president can normalize white supremacy to his base and even those on the margins then anti Jewishness can be memed in the future that could possibly lead to an actual break between the US government and Israel. How sad will that be that then only way for the US to break from Zionism will be through antisemitism. But I bet that the zionists will run to either China or Russia for protection should that day come.
Oh by the way, IF the US totally breaks with Zionism fully in the future and if Israel finds refuge in China and Russia, will the campists switch to zionists?

If America had to compete in production with China… that would mean that accounting for the tremendous gap in population and the very diminished technological gap and the complete unwillingnes of the US to invest in it, the USAno worker would have to be several times more exploited than the worst Chinese sweatshop to keep the US burgeoisie happy, moving from FIRE/serices to industrial production. This would just not be able to happen, the attempt at which would be fodder for revolution.
>>2352079You are wrong.
>accounting for the tremendous gap in population and the very diminished technological gapameriKKka lags far behind Communist China in material development. The gap widens by the day. Any capitalist industrialization is protracted and painful and but industrialization is net benefit to the american worker and humanity. The current trend of deindustrialization and lumpenization of the masses is far worse than industrialization. See the Chinese Communists who made China Great Again and revolutionized humanity's productive forces.

>>2352706And also an impeachment for literally bombing Iran without congressional oversight or approval. That should be a slam dunk to get Dems on board, they love procedure and technicalities and all that shit. But the fact that even something that should in theory be easy for the Dems to latch on is getting completely shoved under the rug just goes to show that our supposed "opposition party" is not only complicit but eagerly collaborating. They're putting more effort towards shooting down people actually trying to challenge Trump than anything else, ineffective though those challenges may be.
And should Mamdani win the primary they're only going to accelerate their attempts at purging anybody to the left of Reagan from their ranks. Expect something stupid like a "minimum age requirement" of 50 or some shit and a signed commitment to free market capitalism and to heed the orders of the party elders to be a requirement to run on a democratic ticket for anything from mayors to reps to senators.

Shit, I wouldn't even know it's a McGovern ad until the end, it gives you plenty of reasons NOT to vote for him ("Oh, the boys will be disappointed in me")

>>2353187my brother has gone full nazbol lol

>>2353250>I mean I do remember some seething here for the longest time about black people not showing up for Bernie. But from what I’ve seen on black tic tok it’s mostly young black men complaining about black women and older black men holding the community back and being their biggest haters. Lot the same complaints I see from young white guys vis a vis lib white women and boomers.I think the thing is that in progressive circles identity politics creates an explicit hierarchy of value that's rigidly enforced and so people get some schaedenfreud when that explicit hierarchy is upturned. In the case of black people and Bernie, for example, I've heard people say "Black people have done more than any other group in history." They're explicitly elevated to the top of the hierarchy as the
most radical, the
most progressive, the hardest working, the ones that have done the most. Whereas if you're a white guy you're told the exact opposite, you're pushed down to the lowest rung of that hierarchy. You're told that you're responsible for Reagan, for imperialism, for everything wrong with the world.
Then you get the Bernie campaign getting wiped out in the South thanks to the democratic political machine's association with Black churches, and suddenly "the most hardworking and progressive group out there" is juxtaposed with democratic ratfucking. It's like watching someone claim they're the most capable and smartest person in the room eat shit, you can viscerally enjoy someone who acts like they're better than you getting a reality check.
So someone lower on the social hierarchy throws that back at those higher on it, and those higher on it look for excuses that are just a mirror reflection of the excuses those lower on the hierarchy used ("It was older generations, it's not us, I didn't personally do it.")
Honestly it's why I think the solution is to dissolve these micro-identities into one larger identity which, in the case of the Left, would be "working class".

https://jewishinsider.com/2025/06/democratic-primary-new-york-city-mayor-zohran-mamdani/Mamdani’s ascent in NYC mayoral primary alarms Jewish voters
>Even if Mamdani does not win, Jewish Democrats uncomfortable with his strident criticism of Israel and alleged insensitivity to rising antisemitism fear that his surging campaign could end up alienating Jewish voters who have long called the party home.
>“The Jewish community is going to face a real shock if Mamdani gets the nomination,” Mitchell Moss, an urban policy professor at New York University who is backing Cuomo, said in an interview with Jewish Insider on Monday. “A lot of people have come to realize that anti-Israel sentiment has metastasized into antisemitism.”
>While support for Israel had once been viewed as a prerequisite for any winning campaign in New York City, Mamdani’s bid has tested that proposition. He has suggested he is uninterested in visiting Israel if elected, breaking with long-standing precedent, and has declined to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.
>Many Jewish and pro-Israel activists in New York City have found his response alarming. “No matter what the outcome tomorrow, the fact that Zohran has been able to capture the attention of so many people who are really blind to his antisemitic tendencies really says something about the state of our electorate right now,” Sara Forman, who leads a pro-Israel super PAC that has urged voters to rank Cuomo first and to exclude Mamdani entirely, told JI.
>Mamdani’s “foreign policy stances are isolating Jews and freezing us out from our political home base in the Democratic Party,” Forman said in an interview on Monday. “If the Democratic Party doesn’t wake up and start speaking to its core constituencies of Blacks, Jews and Latinos, we’re going to find our party rebuilt in someone else’s image.”
>Hank Sheinkopf, a veteran Democratic strategist, predicted a Mamdani victory could end up pushing “more Jews nationally into the Republican column” and said Orthodox Jews might choose to relocate to South Florida and New Jersey. “Whether he wins or loses,” Sheinkopf said, the contours of the race have sent a concerning message that he characterized as “Jews don’t matter.”
>One Satmar leader in Williamsburg told JI that he is expecting solid turnout from New York City’s largest Hasidic voting bloc, predicting up to 8,000 votes for Cuomo, who has worked to mend relationships with Orthodox leaders that soured over his crackdown on religious gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
>The Cuomo campaign believes polls are missing the Orthodox vote, which could make the difference in a close election, according to an advisor who said that turnout from the community has been encouraging. “But what else are they missing is the question,” the advisor told JI on Monday, speaking anonymously to address the race.
>In the final days of the election, Cuomo, the former governor — who has called antisemitism “the most important issue” and touted his staunch support for Israel — has insisted that his decades of government experience make him better suited to handle threats from Iran after the U.S. bombing of its nuclear sites over the weekend.
>“This is a prelude to November,” said Moss, the urban policy professor, envisioning a high-stakes general election. “If Mamdani wins in New York,” he warned, “you can say goodbye to the Democratic Party for a long time.” >>2353342sweet jesus, he's doing the muslim thing with his finger
