The current state of the porn industry is exploitative. That's not inherent to making sexually-stimulating works, but a phenomenon common to most artforms under capitalism, like how game developers are exploited, like how animation sweatshops are, and how many content businesses try to form addiction in consumers. The difference being, acting work (especially but not only porn acting) introduces unique forms of exploitation, like rape.

So there's no inherent reason why porn as a concept shouldn't be allowed in a communist society or a socialist regime, but it certainly would not be produced the same way. And that's not by some benevolent decree or suppression, but because the relation of artists to the economy is transformed and such exploitation is no longer economically incentivized.

I've said this once and I'll say it again: you have to think of porn like weed.

On one hand, you probably have your nice couple or content creator who makes their product and operates solo- their product, though hard hitting in some places, is at least done within their own consent, on their own terms and is distributed and made for people of adult age to consume and enjoy.

But on the other, you have those who have laced the product with more egregious products, and the networks they may distribute this product to have ties to human trafficking- not to mention there are certain types of the product that are not made consensually, and at times involve minors.

Ultimately, the former is immensely preferable to the latter- but the porn industry, or sex work via wage labour as we know it, will not exist under communism. Point to me how sex work would exist in a society which no longer has a wage labour system?

nudity has existed throughout all artistic epochs, but was never given over the category of pornography. pormography is inherently commercial and exploitative, so has no place in a decent society, the same way socialist countries prohibited prostitution.

Ban "degenerate" stuff like porn and cannabis, and a black market will arise to satisfy the needs of people.
On top of that, instead of that stuff being something normal, people will now feel the thrill of breaking the law everytime they will engage in such activity.
In the meantime, black marketeers will accumulate money/resources and power, and they will use it to corrupt whoever they can: cops, government officials, etc.

Of course with communism the exploitation of women must be ended, including the sexual exploitation of female / LGBT proletarians as a means of survival.
That doesn't mean those doing sex work get gulaged or anything. It means prosecution of those at the head of the exploitation and shutting down their operations.
