I'm noticing patterns recently with the most authoritarian communists on this board, the internet and in real life (though rarer in real life due to most of these people being shut-in freaks)

>>is not involved in any way, shape, or form in the union at their place of employment, in fact actively despises colleagues and working class people in general because they might have less than politically correct opinions on things

>>has LOTS OF OPINIONS on the politics of countries they only found out about because they watched a youtube video/wikipedia'd "what parties are left wing", lives in the middle of bumfucknowhere USA
>>continuing on with the previous point, will say insane, outlandish shit like "heh….everyone in X country should've just been genocided when X communist leader was in charge" in a tongue in cheek way, which only their weird orbiter followers will realise is a 'joke' while anyone else thinks they are fucking insane

Am I wrong in saying I think these sorts of people should be pulled away from leftist spaces for being annoying little LARPers? They always seem to be the "frontline" for left-wing discussions online for some reason, I assume because they have more time on their hands than people actually doing things in the real world.

I think it's a "punk" subculture for some of these people. They would reject the term because they'd associate it with anarchists but in essence it's the same thing. Just swap out the pins on the jacket and listen to Molchat Doma (even though they oppose Lukashenko and support the Belarusian opposition) instead of Crass or whatever it is punks listened to.
