You're not even wrong, but it's because the "communism" you refer to is not the communism as understood by Marx Engels and Lenin. I.e a stateless, classless, moneyless society. All the communist regimes so far have been capitalist albeit with different political economies rather than white-bread liberalism.

Only once have "real" communists come into power, and that was the Soviet Union, but that revolution collapsed in the 1920s and was taken over by capitalist opportunists.
