Seven Reasons why the Zionist government will not last until the end of this decade. .
1. Israel cannot function without American handouts and American support is dwindling.
2. Demographics. Palestinians are actually the majority in Israel/Palestine.
3. the Ultra-Orthodox. They are largest Jewish group in Israel, and they don't work and won't fight. How long can a government function with that many people on welfare.
4. The Gobal BDS movement. Israel cannot survive being an international pariah.
5. A large percentage of Isarel's Jewish population has dual citizenship and will leave when the going gets tough.
6. . Internal Political instability. Even without the Palestinians, Israel has deep cultural, religious, and economic rifts. Five elections in three years.
7. Hubris. The Zionists won't make the necessary reforms and concessions for the future.
>>2456917>3. the Ultra-Orthodox. They are largest Jewish group in Israel, and they don't work and won't fight. How long can a government function with that many people on welfare.Nah, it's not that much. It might be around 13% of the Jewish population. It's a problem for the government and army though and the population growth projections are pretty gnarly because the Haredim have more kids so they grow at a faster rate. On the other hand, the Hiloni (secular) population also gets bolstered by Jews who were raised religious and secularize. There's also a conservative, religious, non-Orthodox middle group that serves in the army.
>5. A large percentage of Isarel's Jewish population has dual citizenship and will leave when the going gets tough.I don't think the evidence bears this out. Also the percentage of dual citizens might only be 10%.
>6. . Internal Political instability. Even without the Palestinians, Israel has deep cultural, religious, and economic rifts. Five elections in three years.True but I'm not sure that translates to a military context. You have Israelis fighting over the judiciary or the issue of the ultra-Orthodox serving in the army, but the population mostly agreed with invading Gaza and bombing Iran. A lot of secular / liberal Jews have pretty vile opinions about the Palestinians even if they don't like Bibi.
>>2457048Read the details though. Around 30% of the people who left in 2023 were not Jewish. The majority of the emigrants were also not born in Israel and the vast majority were from the former USSR (so, Russians and Ukrainians). I suspect some of this are people who left those countries because of the war and went to Israel because they had family there but didn't intend to stay.
Actually learned recently that Alla Pugacheva moved to Israel (she has a Jewish husband). She's a famous Soviet-era pop singer. The Atomic Heart theme was a remix of one of her 70s hits.
>>2456917I wonder if it's possible to foster anti-American sentiment in Israel? 🤔
Think about it. If Israelis are told that they're being sent out to die for the benefit of America then won't they become pissed and start attacking America?
