It's good to see some burgers become more radical and willing to put words into action. Unfortunately their are to many bad burgers holding back these good burgers. The main way they hold back the good ones is by snitching. How do we either educate burgers into not snitching of make them afraid of snitching? This needs to be done, as snitches are a massive threat to revolutionary solidarity and action.
>>2479882I'm sorry dude but officially welcoming random stochastic murder from a guy who says he agrees with you is just not a strategic, put together, professional, or rational move.
He didn't belong to an org. No one gave him orders. No one asked him to do it. This is just random meme-ery from a guy with an itchy trigger finger.
Nothing about this situation *builds* anything in the real sense.
Unless you're an anarchist and you somehow think this leads to anything constructive and isn't just noise in the fog of culture war.
This is babymode bullshit. Go and ask any actual serious well-read and mature Normal Communist in another country what they actually think.
I mean props to the kid for uhhh doing what he thought was right etc. But it's just pissing in the wind.
A vigilante acting without thought or real coordination with vague "leftist" sympathies, whatever that even fucking means, isn't going to do anything for anyone. It's just chaos. Which, I mean whatever. But don't act like he's a hero lmao. Somehow Luigi made more sense than this. And I detest Kirk on a far more personal and aesthetic level.
Either way, you need to be thinking about REAL communism, REAL statesmanship, and REAL organizing. Don't be an adventurist 22 year old kid and throw everything away because you didn't have the attention span or patience.
Be a fucking adult, dude lol
>>2479890Exactly, he wasn't in an org, he was given no orders. You can't call it adventurism when he belonged to no party.
Read Huey! Read Lenin! They talk explicitly about these spontaneous events, it shows that the masses are seeking real revolutionary leadership.
>>2479894>Tyler Robinson is a hero of the people This is what you can't say, because he isn't lol. however your next point:
>it shows the masses are seeking real leadershipis absolutely true. His actions are the result of a sort of collective subconscious repression and eventual sublimation into this outburst. And, tbh, the USA fascist superstructure is very specifically designed to suppress any actual revolutionary leadership from developing and evolving. Our entire left-wing consciousness can only exist underground through the decentralized Avante-Garde (art, music, podcasts etc) but we have no dual power whatsoever.
But EVENTUALLY the suppressive Anti-Communist Apparatus within the Fascist American State will weaken like every other institution is, and there will be light through the cracks.
And perhaps maybe this young man's actions accelerated that cracking. Or perhaps he reversed it. Who knows. But it's important to keep your head out of the clouds and use proper, thoughtful rhetoric in times like this. Horrors await us all, but much more suffering and pain awaits those who act without thought or precision.
>>2479905Another very good (and often overlooked) example of this is former CPUSA member Bella Dodd. Surprised she doesn't get mentioned more because she snitched on A LOT of people during McCarthyism. Dodd was an Italian-American immigrant who joined CPUSA in 1934 when Earl Browder was running the party, largely because she was attracted to Browder's "communism is Americanism" speech and felt being a party member would win her validation from others. After Browder was (rightfully) purged from the party in 1946, Dodd found herself uneasy around the militant Stalinists like Bill Foster who were now running the party again. Eventually, Dodd got purged from the party at the end of the decade for being too reactionary. Shortly afterwards, she was introduced to Catholic evangelist Fulton Sheen who brought her back into the Catholic Church, had her unlearn her communist beliefs, and convinced her to snitch on her former comrades when the McCarthy hearings were heating up. Most of them people she ratted out were public school teachers from the teachers' union who had been CPUSA-affiliated. She won all sorts of praise from the American right and became a mini-celebrity of sorts. But the point is, Bella Dodd was a self-righteous pickme girl when she was in CPUSA, and she was a self-righteous pickme girl after she became a Catholic revert and snitch.
This essay sums up her story and gives insight as to why she flipped from left to right:
https://files.catbox.moe/ao0yvh.pdfA few years ago a douchebag right-wing Catholic professor (Paul Kengor) wrote a book on Bella Dodd which was nothing but simpling for her. Granted, he also wrote a book arguing Marx was a satanist.
>>2479911>>2479890Yeah sure, that's probably true. But officially coming out and saying it and being like "this random assassination of a conservative meme by a 22 year old kid who will be put to death now is the epitome of revolution!!!"
is fucking stupid and you know it. It would be the exact same effect if he got hit by a car. Except we wouldn't have targets on our backs.
A good assassination is when the person you're killing was best killed BY a bullet.
This entire situation is just confusion and anarchy. Which sucks. It's actually hard to tell if it's a net positive or not lol.
Now let's say the cheeto was blapped, now THAT would have been s tier. But instead he chose an easy target without a security detail.
>>2479915>>2479920>>2479907Which sucks to say, because I don't want to deflate anyone either. I'll admit, it's been a good fucking week lmao. Excellent happenings for me, while I play Vicarious by Tool full blast.
But anyways, the takeaway is that, for the left, it's a tragedy that this young man's only political outlet for his frustrations was to assassinate the Small Face Man. That he saw the pain and suffering and had no real bureaucratic humanistic channels to go through to defend the marginalized people he loved.
Something along those lines etc etc.
>>2479931Yeah ok I get that sure. BUT what is the BEST way to handle it? We should be doing whatever that is.
You're not going to build a real leftist political movement out of reaction and vitriol. You have to do the boring bland work of literal organizing, which means fucking *meetings* and outreach and networking and fucking (god help us) campaigning and all that gay shit. It's the only thing that actually helps FEED people, and keep people and their children ALIVE and TREATED WITH MEDICINE.
Just because our opposition are a bunch of vehement barbaric snorting hogs who impale people doesn't mean we can just do it in return. That would be one thing if the lines were clearly drawn and distinguish, but they're not. Everything is a weird probability cloud of confusing opposing positions, contradictions, aesthetics, etc etc.
So you can say "it's a war" but you don't even fucking know who's one what side, how many sides there are, ANYTHING. The problem is a lack of *organization* in almost every conceivable way you could apply that word.
