eh, i like browsing your /AKM/ board from time to time as much as it's slow, but you know what this place really needs? a /Job/ board, with it's own banners and maybe a hammers theme, the problem with /career/ is that's it's one thread not enough space for everyone to share, i think we need a board where we can make individual threads for each occupation, we can have a thread for those working in software, a thread for engineers, a thread for people in the food field like dunkin wagies, in these threads we can give eachother tips on how to survive through your workplace or vent some secrets about it

Of course it's more important but sadly imageboards started out and are still driven by weeb content discussion and creating other dead boards won't change that.

No reason to have multiple boards unless you want to
a) slow down a board by splitting it
b) contain a board's content to avoid cross contamination
If you break these guidelines you'll get dead boards. In fact, I'd merge the games/anime/music/draw boards into /hobby/, and /AKM/ into /edu/. Then we'd have:
>/leftypol/ for politics (that's where work/career/unions threads would go)
>/hobby/ for hobbies and entertainment
>/siberia/ for shitposting
>/edu/ to avoid cross-contamination and to keep it slow for better archival of resources
>/tech/ for consumer tech/programming/computer science/hacking/infosec/tech politics/etc (although it could be merged into other boards, but it has just enough relevance and movement to keep it separate)
>/dead/ for the anarkiddies
>/meta/ for meta
