Fans can go any way really. Though I will say different genres have different trends. Thrash fans often lean left thanks to thrash's punk roots, death metal fans are often edgy atheist lolberts, and of course black metal often attracts the fash but of course there are serious exceptions to this. Power and prog metal guys I could really only imagine as libs.
