death metal from India
Decided Im gonna get back into music and try to put together a mostly metal band. What do you all think the politics of metal and metal heads are? Seems like we got a lot of assholes but some of my metal head friends are pretty lefty
>>8809Almost any genre is really whatever you want it to be. I've seen nazis try to make psychedelic music for instance
>>7709I fucking love Holocaust, but not for The Nightcomers. They came back in 1989 as a progressive metal band in one of the most amazing stylistic evolutions I've ever seen from a relatively simple band. Hypnosis of Birds (1992) is an amazing album. Think Voivod, but more melancholy and goth instead of cold and sci-fi.

Yuro metal can be all over the place, everything from gas the porkies to gas the russian saboteurs. Fans can go any way really. Though I will say different genres have different trends. Thrash fans often lean left thanks to thrash's punk roots, death metal fans are often edgy atheist lolberts, and of course black metal often attracts the fash but of course there are serious exceptions to this. Power and prog metal guys I could really only imagine as libs.
>>9019Rammstein is not metal.
>>8868> burger metal typically leans into lolbertarianism or liberalismIf you're Megadeth you've been on every corner of the political compass
you "guys" post some of the most gayest fucking metal on here
listen to this you stupid piece of shit

>>13176hell yeah, have fun
>>13433nope, just edgy lyrics. they aren't nazis.
>>14887What was it like?
>>14931It's pretty good!
>>14936Unfortunately we dilly dallied and missed their set but Meshuggah was dope
>>15148Recycled riffs and melodies barely audible under the gimmicky fighting sounds. I guess they are needed to distract from the fact that Sabaton failed to produce anything novel since almost two decades.
>>15151"Only" 13 years since Carolus Rex.
>>15151>since almost two decadesy r we pretending Sabaton produced anything worthwhile at any point
Beast in Black release two new singles in last year. Didnt even know. The new one, only couple days old, Enter The Behelit, I dont enjoy much, rather generic. This one though I like, very Eurobeat.
>>15363In all of their other albums there is at most one or two songs I find good, but Carolus Rex is solid from beginning to end.
>>15423I wouldn't call it a genre.
>>15468It's because they are eccentric while black metal is all about rigid adherence to conventions.
