To make leftism more popular through the masses and encourage actual informed contribution, we need a significant rebranding. The main psychological caveats that people have with leftism is the liberal perception they were fed through media, namely that capitalism is supposed to represent the dominant assertive venturist and socialism the weak and impotent. They believe that it's a self-deprecating cult riddled with "nu-males" with misplaced woke ambitions that have utopian delusions of an easier world that sustains their "degeneracy" unlike capitalism where those who 'innovate' and 'work hard' automatically end up in better living conditions. The tumblroid perception of leftism still constrained to 2014 liberalistic social media festers in their minds whenever they hear "socialist", "communist", or "strike", effectively dissuading people from associating with leftists generally. It was the reason why I initially had some resistance too. It didn't use to be like this; one of the main components of Soviet propaganda was the romanticization of the socialist worker as a manly, dignified and self-respective individual capable of exerting autonomy over the ruins of capitalist debauchery. And in a sense, it's needs to be correct. Discipline, self-restraint, education, manliness and counter-consumerism should be fundamental virtues of leftists.
