Using an AI is more fun because there is an aspect you don‘t fully control that adds more randomness and creativity to it. I also use a dice mechanic so I don‘t immediately get what I want.

Which one‘s are you using? I used the one by CohereLabs before. It‘s 100% compliant but it hits its limit and just repeats itself. The dialogue is also not as spicy. Llama 3.3 is powerful but tries to keep it ethical and will refuse requests that are too spicy. The Mistral models have been the best so far because they are powerful, accept spicy prompts and the dialogue is more fun. Mistral is quite vulgar and authentic while CohereLabs is too formal.

That hasn't really been my personal experience. Finding decently written smut on AO3 can take a while, but getting a satisfying story out of j.ai also involves constantly retrying and nudging the AI, not to mention having to put effort into your own messages or it starts mimicking your laziness. The trade-off is worth it only because I can make it far more specific than anything already out there.
Also, again just speaking personally, j.ai defaults to a kind of sentimental and flowery style which I find the opposite of sexy and need to actively try to tame, often unsuccessfully.

Also, the interactivity gives it a vague sense of realism. Like saying that you are doing something and getting a response of what has happened and how the other response make it feel a bit real. AI is surprisingly good at giving proper psychological responses to what I'm doing in ERP.
