If an individual doing what I described will not cause this hypothetical of yours to occur then your argument does not apply. Your scenario is the product of larger circumstances driving people to behave this way for survival, meaning that even without me adopting such a mentality on my own accord most people would be doing it anyway, making it not a consequence of my actions.

But on a different note, what about animals? Or an out-group of people I don't co-exist with and can't substantially fight back? What would be the argument there?
